Free Sunny D

Did not see this posted anywhere so thought I would share. Bi-Lo has Sunny D on sale thur the 21st of July for .98 so with the 55/1 off any sunny d that means free. I ordered 20 coupons for this that came today so off I went and first trip I got 10 for the tax oop .37 Then hubby went in behind me to get another ten so 20 total for .74 this should last thur the summer.

the ones I got said Sunny D Smooth on the jug and by the way the sale runs thur July 21st right now I have 30 and counting exp date on jug says oct. plenty of time to drink them up

No, I have the coupon for $.55 off any Sunny D Smoothies and went to Bi-lo...the Sunny D Smoothies are 2/$4.00, so $.90 after coupon. I bought one to try it....but not free.

I have lots of the Smoothie coupons and no Sunny D coupons either. I guess .90 isn't a bad price for juice. Although free is always better. I'm curious about how they taste as well.

We bought some this weekend at Kroger [I think the smoothies were $1.28 or so] just to try them out and to see if it's worth driving to Bi-Lo for this to optimize the doubles on this coupon [Bi-Lo is really way out of my way] - they are very thick and sticky. We bought a plain yellow [orange I presume] and one that was tinted more an orangey yellow [sorry - the bottles are gone already, LOL this is the best I can do for describing them] that was even sweeter. The second kind of tasted like the orange icecream on wooden sticks with the vanilla center [I know I'm totally off today with my descriptions, LOL] and would probably make great icecream popsicles or some such.

Overall - extremely sweet, thick and sticky - I had to water mine down 50/50 in order to be able to drink it. Certainly not a "for real" juice if you were hoping for that, but will make great "flavored water"...

I don't have a BI-Lo anymore but we tried these smoothies. They are horrible tasting. My kids won't even drink them. I am writing the company and complaining. So sweet, aftertaste, thick and unappealing. You have to take a swig of cola to get rid of the aftertaste. My kids said it is worse than liquid medicine, lol.

I have a bottle I bought about a month ago...it is half gone in the back of the frige. A swig is more than enough. It is really sweet I wouldn't use the word thick though. And I agree it tastes just like a creamsicle (orange with white vanilla on a stick).
