    DD3 Some deals I found at Bi-Lo today (4/7/09)

These deals may have already been posted by someone else….but just in case you missed them, here they are again:
The 24 count family size boxes of Lipton tea are on sale. Bi-Lo has these on for “buy 2 for $3”. There’s a .75 cent coupon in the 3/15 Smart Source for Lipton tea (any size / flavor). And that coupon will double at Bi-Lo. So if you have 2 of those coupons, use one on each box and you get 2 boxes for FREE.
The 4 pound bags of Dixie Crystals sugar are also on sale. These normally run $1.49 each. Bi-Lo has them on for .99 cents each (limit 2). I made 2 trips to Bi-Lo today, I don’t know if there are any Q’s for Dixie Crystals sugar out there right now. But if there, that makes this already good deal even sweeter (no pun intended, LOL).
The 16 ounce bottles of Pompeian Olive Oil are also on sale……B1G1 Free. The “robust” flavor in this oil normally runs $6.50 a bottle. So with the B1G1 Free promotion, each bottle rings up at $3.25 each. There’s a $1.00 off (any size, any type) coupon out there at http://www.pompeian.com (you can print 2). Use one coupon on each bottle and that makes the final deal on these in this flavor $2.25 a bottle. But the “extra light” and the “classic” flavors in this same olive oil are normally $5.40 a bottle. With the B1G1 Free promotion, each bottle rings up at $2.70 each. Again, there’s that same $1.00 off (any size, any type) coupon at the link I listed above. Use one coupon on each bottle and that makes the final deal on these flavors $1.70 a bottle. Not bad for olive oil….especially from a national brand name like Pompeian.
These are just a couple of the deals I saw today. I’m sure there are others…..either now or starting tomorrow in Bi-Lo’s new weekly sales paper.
    So go get em’ Gals……

Not all bi-lo stores double past the .60 cent mark. There are some that do double up to .99, you must be one of the lucky ones.

I have this posted in a seperate thread but the Vitamenwater is on sale for $1. There was a tearpad of .50c MQ's making them free. You can also use the $1 MQ's that were in last Sundays paper.
Also, Gillette Series shave cream is on sale for $1. Combined with the $1 MQ's from Sundays paper = FREE shave cream.

I also found another great deal at Bi-Lo yesterday. My family LOVES Land-o-Lakes butter and Bi-Lo has it on sale as a B1G1 Free (wrapped stick butter and/or the 15 oz whipped type in the tub). These normally run for $4.19 each, but with the B1G1 Free, they now ring-up at $2.00 each. However there's a SmartSource internet printable coupon out there right now for .55 cent each (any size).....which DOES DOUBLE at Bi-Lo. So the bottom line in this great deal is that you get a pound of Land-o-Lakes butter (sticked or whipped that normally sells for $4.19 each) for .90 cents each after your bonus card is scanned and you apply one of these internet coupons on EACH PACKAGE of butter that you buy. And guess what.....there's NO LIMIT on this butter during this sale at Bi-Lo. Needless to say, I now have a lot of these .90 cent packages of butter in my freezer.

And for anyone that has never heard that you can freeze butter before, I have this to say about that......my wife said to me just yesterday (in a carping-type of way) "I'm NOT eating any butter that's been frozen!! I'm sure it doesn't taste nearly as good as fresh butter does". I turned to her and asked, "so you have no problem with what you've been eating so far, you just don't want to try any butter that's been frozen before, right"? My wife flatly stated to me "no way, no how, no frozen butter for me!! I like what I have now just fine, thank-you" I looked her right in the eye and said "No frozen butter Huh? Well what the h### do you think you've been eating for the last 6 months!?!? It ain't been right-off-the-shelf butter!!! It's been Land-o-Lakes butter that I got (and froze) from the last big sale that they had!!!" My wife's jaw just dropped and she stared at me....in a mean sort of way. She loves the butter, but she HATES IT when I get the best of her on an issue :) Needless to say, that ENDED the frozen butter debate.....in my favor. LOL.

    Vet Iraq...

Thanks for your service to our wonderful Country and thanks for the post about the butter. Love the L O L whipped butter! Your argument with your DW (darling wife) sounds like one I had with my DH recently only ours was over Honey Nut Cheerios. He said he wouldn't eat the store brand that he would be able to tell the difference... blah blah blah. Little did he know I had been putting the store brand in his brand name box for months!!@!! I crack myself up over things like this!
