i went to my bilo today that doubles up to .99 coupons. excited that I was getting so much dressing for free, I got 7 bottles (have 7 coupons right now). go through check out and they beep!! so I was like hmmm, and the register was not accepting any of them. manager is called, so I figure I will get an override, and they will adjust the double part down to the remaining .69, but he said that it wouldn't take it because it would exceed the value of the product, and they can let me use the coupon for face value only. WHAT??!!! He said that would mean you would get them for .60 per bottle, "that's a good deal" he said. and I replied "free is better though", and politely asked them to void them and for my coupons back. I know I have had coupons scan that wil adjust the extra savings to the remainder balance. I have never had this problem before and am pretty upset considering I bought 20 more coupons off of ebay yesterday. the manager was very appoligetic and even printed the coupon policy for me, so I would know that it wasn't him making the rules. he knows I come in there frequently throughout the week, and doesn't want to lose a customer. has anyone else tried this deal and had problems? if you tried this deal and had no problems, what did you do differently?

Something I have noticed is some coupons will beep at one BiLo and at another BiLo they won't. And I am actually referring to the one you shop and the one I shop normally.

I have been using the Sweet Sue Q for 2 months now and each one adjusts when it is doubled.

So he didn't even TRY to overide it?

I used the Dr Pepper peelie last week when it was BOGO and peelie was for $.55...Bogo price was $.80....well the peelie beeped, I gave the cashier my coupon so she could do it (Uscan) and whatever she did, I got FULL DOUBLE VALUE. I see on the receipt it says she had to enter it manually somehow, it doesn't say "scanned coupon" like the other ones that did work. It says "grocery" and then doubled for the full amount.

Maybe you should try again.

Also I know those registers are different. The receipt I get at my normal one looks very different (I would guess older system at mine). Also when I shop I ALWAYS scan my card after I am done scanning my groceries. At my store all my "savings" show after my scanned groceries. At your store it adds them in sale for item.

If you really want to get the dressing I suggest you try another store.
You can try my store, I don't want dressing....

i am going to give it a go again and maybe try a different store this time, up at mt holly huntersville rd. I will have so many coupons for this stuff once mine come in from ebay, and I really want to get the free!! I am just wondering if I try it again at my bilo the manager guy will remember me(because he already recognized that I am in there so much lol) and check and see if they work or not. I just don't want a hassle, when I know that the coupon should double up to the price of the product. I just want it free, don't care about the overage part at this point.

YAY!! Went to a different BiLo and no problems!! got ten dressings and 1 20 oz mt dew all for 1.22!!!!!! the cashier was like, ' wow that is a really good deal, I have never seen that happen before!" I was thinking you must not have many couponers come her lol. I said yeah I got the drink so I would have something to pay for lol. with a smile and have a nice night I was on my merry way!! whew, I am so glad it worked. I still have more coupons left, and will have to make another trip tomorrow or at least by tuesday.

Yes I did not have any trouble with them beeping at my store until the end I think the last three beeped I would think b/c of the overage. We love love love the balsamic vinagrette especially with spring and summer upon us it is soooo good on cukes and tomatoes!!

we love to marinate with the italian, and mix that with tomatoes red onions, and cukes. mmmmm yummy

Well, Beth, I'm so glad it worked out for you. Use some of it to marinate chicken breasts. Thrown them on the grill after marinating all day and YUMMO!!!!
