Green bags discount

Do you get a green bag discount. My bilo gives me a nickel for each green bag I use.

All the BiLos around me give the discount, but most times I have to ask for it, they don't just give it automatically. However when I have forgotten I have gone up to customer service for my $.15 YES THREE NICKELS and they do not have a problem giving them to me. EVERY PENNY ADDS UP!

Yep! Although to me, .15 cents (never buy more than three bags worth) isn't that impressive. :shrug:

I got 0.35 today!!! The cashier did it without my asking. She told me that you usually have to ask. I have a few grocery bags that I got somewhere, but I am a school teacher. A couple of the bags I bring are bags I got from teacher conferences. Some of my groceries were in a Division of Learning Disabilities bag today. Tee hee hee!

I've been told by a manager in SC that you can bring any reusable bag and request bag credit. You must ask for it and they don't have to be Bi-Lo green bags. Mine are Publix and assorted canvass bags.

I got lucky yesterday. I received the discount and didn't have to ask. She was a great cashier!

My Bi-Lo says they are not giving the discount anymore. I still get it at Target though!!

I get $.10 for every bag. I've never had to ask for it.

Our store in Cleveland, TN will still give the discount but you have to ask for it. HTH somebody!
