    Expired $20 EGC w/Prescription transfer (exp 2/1/09)

    Hi All!

Got the BiLo Ad 12/31-1/6 in the mail and on page 3 there is a coupon for a $20 EGC wyfill a transferred prescription at the BiLo Pharmacy. I have not used mine yet, so I don't know if new prescriptions count or just transfers ...

There are exceptions, like no Medicare/Medicaid and no transfers from other BiLo Pharmacies (duh), but other than that ...

Probably just available in the newspaper ad version of the flyer, not at the store, but maybe so ... I have not checked ...

I had posted this in the weekly ad. They do have them in the ads in the store. I went on Thursday to do it and got more ads. Went back Friday when they were open and she said I can only used that coupon once. But then handed me another expired coupon for $25 if I wanted to transfer another. I tranfered a second one and got my $25 GC. I then asked for another one for my husbands that I will transfer and she gave me a different one that doesn't expire until 4-1-09. There were some other store brand OTC med coupons on the paper too.
$1 off Top care Nite Time cold relief 10oz (NyQuil Knock off)
$1 off Top care Chest congestion relief 50ct (Mucinex knock off)
$1 off Top Care Tussin DM 4oz (Robitussin knock off)
$1 off Top Care All Day Allergy (Benedryl knock off)
$5 off Top Care Nicotine Gum

If you only have one Rx to transfer, I would ask for this paper instead for the extra $5....

The Q for the $20 GC that exp 2/1/09, has some funny wording. It says, in part, "one per person, per transaction, per day." That made me think you could do several, just different transactions. The pharmacist set me straight on that. It's strictly one per person. She is a personal friend of my dad's, so, I know if she could allow me to use more than one, she would.

I really shouldn't complain. My meds cost $11.07 and I got a $20 GC. Pretty good deal to me.

    %$#@&
I heard about this and asked them about it before the 1st of Feb. and was told NO, there is no coupon out there for a Rx transfer, so I went to CVS.

There is another one that is good until May that is for $25 that should be located IN the Pharmacy.

What in the name of ................... Bi-lo is going on here?
I went to the pharmacy and was 3rd in line. The people who paid for the meds were not given anything like an Rx coupon. When it was my turn, I said, "A reliable source" told me there was an Rx coupon good until May and it is for a $25 gift card and you get it at the pharmacy. I was asked WHO is the reliable source. I told her an internet forum on all Bi-Lo subjects and current and past employees and couponers can share info. Well, she was an avid couponer so we had a long chat about lots of things, Bi-Lo related, and other stores.
Any way, she reached under the counter and gave me a sheet of coupons for Topcare products.
There was the $25 Rx coupon expires 4-15-09.

Now my comment: What in the name of ...............Bi-lo is going on here?
refers to the fact that this coupon was valid beginning back on 10-22-08. Who does the pharmacy give them too? Nobody unless they want to? Are they thrown away? The people in line in front of me were not given one with their purchase? Do you have to know about it and ask for them? Any coupons not asked for by April 15 will be thrown away?
I'd like to have had one back in October or November.
Why the secrecy or lack of publicity on these coupons?
