Seems to me if the register says "purchase requirements not met" then the manufacturer did not intend for you to use both coupons.
Has anyone tried to use the 50¢ on any size Mr Clean spray or liquid and the free Mr Clean spray wyb any Mr Clean liquid together? The register at BiLo dinged and said "the purchase requirement not met". The clerk said I could use one or the other, but not both. Thoughts?

I have used it and had no problems with "squawking" of the register. The coupon does not say "may not be combined with any other offer" therefore stacking should be allowed. I had the register squawk yesterday with the same message and I had purchased EXACTLY what the coupon was for. I almost think it has something to do with these split bar codes that are now on the coupons. I don't think the scanners always read them correctly. JMHO.
I agree, that sometimes the coupons ring that way when they are not supposed to. Like wine tags, those I tend to have a problem with. $1 off ANY cheese-I buy cheese yet is says "purchase requirements not met". I do know that I have read on other boards where people are saying they have had a problem with that particular coupon.
