Transfered meds to Bi-Lo

I stopped in Bi-Lo yesterday and asked if they honored competitor's coupons on transfered prescriptions. She said she never heard of doing that, but, the pharmacist overrode the tech and said they could do it, they just never had. I have Medicare Part D, but, I have one med that is not covered by that. And, it only costs about $12 to get it filled. Well, they took my Rite Aid transfer Q and gave me a $20 Bi-Lo GC. I said, "Where's my gas tokens?" The pharmacist told me that I could only do one promotion, but, since I didn't know this, she would give me one gas token anyway. Yeah, I think I made out pretty well.

There is a coupon in the Bonus Saver book that begins 5-21 for a $25 BI-Lo giftcard when you transfer or fill a rx good thru 6/30.

I don't think you'll be able to do both promotions on one transaction. That's what the pharmacist told me when I transfered my meds and got the $20 GC. She said I was not eligible for the gas tokens in addition to the gift card. Maybe you'll have better luck. I think it's one of those YMMV situations.

YEEHAW! I went last night and Xferred 2 RX. I was armed w/1 BiLo GC Q (didn't want to push my luck). I asked the Pharmacist if I could get the gas tokens on the 1 I didn't use the GC Q for, he sd sure, then he hands me 10 gas tokens (2 RX!) AND a $25 GC - yeehoo! I didn't expect it, didn't ask for it, but was VERY happy to get it -- yeah baby, happy dance!!!!

You ought to bottle that luck and sell it! You'd make a fortune. Good for you. I'll do the happy dance with you, even though I don't have your kind of luck, or YMMV, as they say.
