Thanks for the Welcome! In my first post, I was talking about doing 2 transactions. First , buy a $50 gift card. I would then get one gas token. Then come back later and buy at least $50 dollars worth of merchandise. Pay for this transaction with the gift card. I was wondering if I would get a token on the second transaction or not. Sorry , I wasn't clear before.

I posted earlier about buying 2 $50 Bi-Lo GC and only getting one token. I was in yesterday and told my favorite cashier that if I had done those 2 cards in separate transactions, I would have gotten 2 tokens. He told the manager that I didn't get a token. Mgr. looked in the safe for extras and couldn't find them. About that time, the service desk woman came in and mgr asked her where the extras were. She said that they didn't have any. He told her about my not getting the extra token and she kind of rudely said, "You're not supposed to get them if you buy a Bi-Lo GC. It's all other GC." I said thanks and left. I'd say she doesn't know what she's talking about as it spit it out for me when I bought those Bi-Lo GC. At any rate, they tried to make it right for me but couldn't find any extra tokens.

As for buying a GC and then getting the token for the $50 order, I think by reading the material they've published about the program, that should work.

I think the best plan of action is to just try it! If it works, then you got a 2-4-1! I advise dividing your purchases into $50 before Q's. That way, you save time & trips to the store. Don't be afraid to ask questions! There are lot's of helpful 'posters' out there to give you advise!

You can get a token for buying a gift card. The gift cards pictured are HD and Bed & Bath. Can I get a $50 Bi-Lo card and then use the card to buy token items? Does that make sense?

I went last night and bought a $50 Bilo GC, then made another transaction with a slew of Q's (made sure my subtotal went above $50 before sending in the Q's) and walked out w/2 pts. Going back today to PU my mom/dads RX & hopefully will walk out w/25 more pts. I checked w/the Pharmacist and the CS rep & both said there is no RX limit (my parents have alot haha).

A similiar thing happened to me, however it was with the 3 packs of 120z cokes....they gave me a rain check and said it would be counted as a token....hope this helps!

Well, you know the old saying, "Even a blind hog can find an acorn now and then." I had a Q for $2 off (3) 8-packs of 12oz cokes. It expired yesterday or today, so, I wanted to use it. Apparently, that purchase triggered a gas token. I don't know how many you need to buy to get that, but, I bought 3.

I got my first gas card on Friday! We actually have a choice between BP & Shell. I was so excited! Also, wanted to let you know the 'list' that triggers extra tokens, will change in June. Manager Caryn, at Ocoee Crossing, Cleveland TN, shared that bit of info, as I was searching for the 'list' tear pad on Friday. I have enjoyed the past couple of weeks planning my strategies for getting those tokens! I was .80 cents short on one run, and found out why they have the impulse buy rack so close! I grabbed a pack of gum to complete my $50. Had I been thinking on my toes, I would have grabbed the Trident and used another coupon!

I need one more token to get my second gas card! What a blessing! I shop at Bi-Lo anyway, and this is an added bonus!
