Re: Hot Buttered Rum Only if you actually add the rum! I sometimes don't, and it's still tasty. I may actually make this early, while I am still pregnant, and try to convince myself that there's rum in it! LOL
The eggs make it thicker and creamy, as opposed to the nasty excuse for hot buttered rum that you usually get at a bar. I actually had one bartender float a pat of butter on a glass of hot water and cinnamon (very little rum) and try to tell me that's the way it's supposed to be. Riiiiight.
