    Default Water from boiled limes?

I squeezed 1/2 bushel of limes today for limeade. When I was done I put the rinds in a pot and boiled them just because they smelled so good. But now I'm wondering if I can use the water I boiled them in for limeade also, or do I have to pitch it?

I know it's a strange question but I live in Indiana and citrus fruit is not cheap here; I want as much mileage as I get from them (safely of course).

As long as you washed them good, you'll be good. However, it may be a little bitter if you extracted any of the flavors from the pith. You can add a pinch of salt to help tame the bitterness.
