I did this twice today with my daughter. They have small candles and room sprays near the cash registars for $1.00 there are also small tiny bottles of hand sanitizers for $1.50 near the front as well.

DH bought a $.37 nail file; I bought $1 duck. The sales associates were petulant. We did not purchase a large $$ of merchandise.

There were more than enough shoppers buying the 30% off deals to make up for any loss.
