A few reminders
Listing your auction:
Please remember that you must allow for up to a 24 hour approval time when you are listing your auction.
If the seller does not list a shipping amt then the seller is responsible for shipping.
You may list your auction as far ahead of time as you wish but remember coupons are fast paced due to expiration dates and sale dates so your auction may not get many bids if any at all until the last few days.
Sellers may only list 2 of any 1 internet printable coupon. This is not per auction, this is per seller.
Limits:
Members in the Trader User Group (see more
here) are allowed to list up to 15 auctions per week. The Auction forum week will start on Sunday.
When posting your auction please list it as Auction 1, 2 ,3 ,4 etc. and then fill out the rest of the required title information.
The limit of 15 per week will be lowered for individual members if it is found that a seller is not declaring winners, contacting winners or fulfilling their end in a timely fashion.
Holding shipment:
Rule: If you plan to hold your end until payment is received you must include this information in your original auction post.
We do suggest that you put some a restriction to the effect of: if the winning bidder is a trader with less than 10 positive feedbacks, no recent feedback or a neutral or negative feedback, to send their end/payment first.
Declaring a winner:
Auctioneers have 24 hours to declare and contact the winner of their auction. Please take this into consideration when posting an ending time. If you do not hear back from your bidder within 24 hours please pm again. We allow bidders 48 hours to respond and set up payment.
Please check the times of bids and the bids themselves. The final bid may not be the highest and it may not have been made before the auction ended. If you auction ends at 9pm CST then only bids that came in before the time stamp of 9:00:00 pm cst are qualifying bids.
Chatting in the auction forum:
Questions and answers are Aok, but please have your conversations via pm or post a visitor message if you wish to say hello.
Bumping:
Bumping rules have been changed! Sellers may bump their auction 3 times every 24 hours. We do not say per calendar day because of the different time zones. Your bump "clock" will start when you do your first bump.
BIN:
All auctions hosted on HCW must have the option of bidding. You can add in a BIN price if you wish.
At any time, bidders can choose to BIN.
If you have a set of coupons that you wish to exchange for a set $ amount plus postage, please post it in trades.
Please put BIN in your title if your auction includes a buy it now.
You cannot add in the buy it now feature after bidding has started.
