Hi!
I'm new! My favorite craft is beading. I loved making jewelry!
I also have a website all about Standard Poodles!
I'm afraid I'll sound like a flaky quitter if I list the crafts I like!
I never really got tired of any of them, but life kept getting in the way. There are never enough hours in the day.
Used to do a lot of leathework and carving when I was single. Still have the tools, but gave it up in our our first apartment because it was too noisy.
Also, took calligraphy and lettering classes in high school and college, but computers do a much more professional job!
Never was great at knitting, but do pick up the needles to make something simple like a muffler occasionally. Our winters get COLD,so that is a handy skill!
Entered a lot of cooking contests and actually won prizes in several of them, but had to put that aside when we bought our house and needed to do renovations and decorating.
Did a lot of flower arranging and dried flower/herbal crafts from my garden until moles gophers moved into the neighborhood and ate everything! Haven't been able to find a lot of the herbs to replace the plants since then.
Used to sew most of my clothes, curtains, pillows and lots of baby gifts, but we kept thinking we were moving and I got tired of packing up my sewing room.
Also loved crewel and cross-stitch embroidery, but had to take up photography for free-lance income. Still have a half-finished cross-stitch I hope to get back to ... someday.
Then I got dragged into learning computer graphics and most of my energy goes toward that now. I recently started doing photo slideshows with great new software.![]()

I enjoyed reading everyones responses =) I love learning new crafts. My favorite is jewelry making and cross stitching. I am currently learning how to make ornaments and hope to learn to sew in the near future.
My main craft is jewelry making. I do wire wrapping, chainmaille, bead stitching , basic beading, etc.
Other crafts I dabble in are making candles, soap making, painting, card making, and random stuff.
I love soap making :D & making jewelry. They are both great ways to take your mine off things. Like a stress reliever.![]()
