That's beautiful! I can't knit, but I've been crocheting since I was 9 (my mom taught me.)

That's a very pretty sweater! I love it!

I can knit, but not very well or fast. I crochet better. I quit doing both really though, because the price of yarn drives me up the walls. It can cost like $50 or $100 just for the yarn for a nice sweater, I'm just not going to do that. I can't stand the cheap acrylic stuff, either. Plus, I realized some time ago that with knitting & crocheting clothes, all I was doing was creating my own fabric. I thought it was much better to just buy fabric & sew my clothes, if I wanted, and buy a sweater, if I wanted a sweater.

I do like to crochet though, I have a standing project of a thread-crochet bedspread. I do little squares, whenever I have to sit & wait for long periods of time. Like when I travel, but that kind of time is extremely seldom.

I've found fairly good deals on yarn/kits/needles on Ebay, especially in the summer when no one wants to think about knitting with wool.
There's also a site where you can order "seconds" of acrylic.

I guess I'm still too new to the forum, can't see the sweater yet! :frown: I'm a knitter and crocheter and I like to felt stuff also!

Gorgeous Sweater! I usually do my crocheting and knitting in cooler months, I'm self taught. I love to see others projects.
