My 7 year old declared her hearts desire over Thanksgiving break...........
............. insert a whole bunch of really adult words...............
An American Girl DollSo, none of them are perfect of coarse. HOWEVER, with the magic of a couple of brown spots I could make her Christmas wish come true.
Any ideas or advice on what I could use to freckle a plastic doll head? Is it a bad idea all together?
I appreciate any ideas or help!

I suppose you could use any permanent paint or marker with a relatively matte finish...
My daughter got that stupid catalog when we were visiting my BF's family - luckily she forgot about it by the time we got home. Those things are ridiculously overpriced (but very, very cute).
Yes, that helps tremendously XUfan! I thought I was using google craftily, but didn't come up with that! Thank you so much!
I did read a yahoo answer from a doll artist that said acrylic is a must.
You're welcome! I was shocked that I got a good answer on the first try! I'm really good at finding things that someone else is looking for. Not so great at it when I'm the one who needs the answer! Just so you know, I typed in "how to freckle a doll's face".

This would be 100 times easier if someone would invent acrylic freckle tattoos.........
I'm not overly crafty per-se, but my bf dabbles in drawing painting and on something vinyl, a permanent brown sharpie marker or something like a Posco Paint Marker should work.
My mom freckled the doll for me, they are nice and light, just perfect!
