    HI Wedding Favors?

Does anyone have any ideas for cheap/easy wedding favors? I to have something that I can make that is cheap. I will likely have to make about 100-150 and would like to get started fairly quickly so that I have time to get them done.

I shop at CVS, Shoppers and Shoprite. I can double up to $0.99 and sometimes triple up to $0.40.

    congratulations!! when's the big day?
personally i've always preferred edible favors, chocolates, etc, than bubbles, or any other typical favors. whatever you decide keep it simple, and make it easy on yourself.

We did little clear bags with mints in them. The outside had a tag with our wedding theme colors that said ' "Mint" To Be' The guests loved them, and they thought it was a good idea for after the cake and other food.

We did m and m's with our name on them. You can also do packets of wildflowers on the table. They are cheap and cute and that way people can have flowers to remind themselves of your wedding!!

For my DD's wedding we did Hersheys Hugs and Kisses, wrapped in netting with a poem that said, Some hugs and kisses, From, _________ and _____________, , now Mr. and Mrs.

In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.

For my son's wedding, I did something similar. I sponge painted small clay pots white and wrote their names and the date along the top, then filled them with Hershey's Kisses. They were wrapped in netting and tied with ribbon, with a card attached that said, "Hearts full of love, pots full of kisses, *his name* and *her name* are now Mr. and Mrs."

Later, for valentine's day, we changed the verse to read, "Hearts full of love, pots full of kisses, *daughter's name* sends you Happy Valentine's wishes."

I went to a reception a few weeks ago where a "Candy Bar" was set up. It was really cute and the guests could make their own goodie bag. There were bowls of different sizes and shapes (with tiny scoops, like 1/4 c size) filled with a variety of candies - party mints, nonpareils, kisses, chocolate almonds, malted milk balls & personalized M&Ms in the wedding party colors.

It was a small reception, about 75 guests total so I'm not sure how much they spent on candy total, I know the m&m's would have been the most expensive.

I stamped my own candles. (You don't actually stamp *on* the candle. You stamp on tissue paper, then fuse that to the candle. I then put them in a little bag.

Here's a tutorial. Keep in mind that you do NOT need to color images in. I chose stamps that were a solid design. Splitcoaststampers - Stamping on Candles Project Tutorial by Jenni Mouer

I wrapped flower bulbs in tuele(?sp), tied with colore ribbon with 2 fakey silver rings and a rosebud attached. Wanted people to plant the bulb so in the sping when the flower bloomed, they could enjoy it and perhaps remember the good time they had at our wedding. I got all the stuff at Walmart-- if I remember correctly, 25 bulbs was $5.
