This is a low-sew, thrifty way to convert a T-shirt into a grocery bag. It is considered a "frugal" project for those that are thrifty. :-)

I can't wait to try this - I'm trying to dig out some of DS old cute T-shirts. I think a tie-dye or a camoflage T-Shirt would make a very cute bag. One thing is I would reinforce the shoulder seams after cutting the sleeves off so it doesn't rip through eventually. You could make a dozen of these in a very short time.
