model magic...it's made by crayola and its paintable. Very easy to use and found in the school supply isle at walmart.
Have fun, I love the Arch we visit it each time we are home.
My ds8 is doing a research project on Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO. He needs to make a model of it as part of his class presentation. Any ideas of how to make a replica of it? The original architect made it out of pipe cleaners, but I'm not sure how they would hold up. Help!!!

Recently, my daughter said to me, "Mom, I was born to snuggle. What were you born to do?" Of course, I had to answer, "I was born to shop!"

I was going to say you could build a frame out of pipe cleaners or skewers/toothpicks, and then cover in paper mache. That would be paintable too. Not sure how hard it would be though, think the model magic might be easier.
