Empty Diaper Tubs,any size empty tissue boxes: what you will need : Majic marker, maybe some glue, tape, pieces of paper, construction paper, glitter

Things you can make out of empty ones instead of them ending up in the landfill:

*piggy banks - just drop the change in the top! if you want to decorate use glue and cut out pieces of construction paper and make decorations or designs that you like!
*can organize your batteries by type in ea (if have multiples amts of boxes) mark with a mark what type on ea tub in magic marker
*can organize nails, screws for DH just mark with majic marker and write what they are on the box
*coupon box- mark ea tub for ea store you shop and put coupons in the tub to hold for that store when a sale comes you will be ready set go!
* can organize your junk drawer. Just mark on the tub what is in it when you fill it!
* gift boxes! sometimes you cant find the perfect size box just add tissue paper to your gift and wrap accordingly with gift wrap!
*remote holder* DH got tired of losing the remotes. so I keep one under the couch marked remotes and tv stuff with a pack of batteries for the JIC moments ;)

2 liter bottles, and milk jugs:
*you can make bird / squirrel feeders out of these.
* reuse milk jugs for water, just make sure you rinse out the jug well.
* or recycle please follow your recycling guide per area.
* also plastic bottle crafts for kids has wonderful amts of crafts just for you and your kids.

newspapers, old inserts, paper ect,
* use as wrapping paper - sometimes I am guilty of using the comics section for birthday wrapping paper
*recycle follow your areas rules and guidlines for recycleing paper products there is a vast amt that you can recycle with paper.(you would be suprised!)
* have a bonfire! save those papers for camptime in a box marked campire papers, marshmellows melt wonderfully for smores! not recommended for chilren without supervision.
* use in your fireplace, they always to light your logs* use precautions about fire saftey. not recoommended for children *****

**** Glass jugs, bottles
*you can use these to organize things too!
*canning
*crafts

we prefer the Hillshire Farms lunchmeat (the kind that comes in the Ziploc take away containers) and I got REALLY sick of not being to open a bathroom cabinet door and look for something without an avalanche of stuff pouring out on the floor. SO. I grabbed a stack of about 15 of em, a black sharpie and spent about 45 minutes in the bathroom and VOILA!! now some things are just too big to fit, but I am using some bigger similar type containers and then there are some things that just get to have their own place, lol. But I tell ya....I can find the thermometers, and the nail clippers, and the tweezers, etc now!! I know where all my cold meds are. If I take a trip, I can easily grab my travel size shampoo, conditioner and lotion. It has saved me AND when I moved, there was no spillage, and I set up my bathroom in no time flat.
