If you have a Joann's nearby, they have Simplicity patterns on sale this weekend 5/$5 (you don't have to buy 5 to get the sale price).
A size 2 translates into these measurements: 21" chest, 20" waist and 34" height. Truth be told, there's not a lot of difference between the infants L meant for 18-24 months and the toddler's sz 2.
