i normally do things for the teacher(s) each year. last year for the beginning of the year, I did a card set with some other goodies. but I just haven't had the time this year. I know I'll do some cards before Christmas for her. not sure what else yet. counts on the teacher.

I would love to get some sets made for several of the teachers.... as a little thank you for all you do, kind of thing. I know several of dd's teachers in the past have loved the cards.

I can't find the thread on the Cricut mb that I found the idea, but it's cheap, and recycles! What you do is take an empty, clean two liter bottle. Take the label off, and then cut a U shaped flap (sideways) in the side of the bottle, just big enough to put your items through. People have filled them with pens, candy...essentially anything that will fit! Then, tape the flap shut, and create a new "label" to hide the the cut. Decorate with ribbon or whatever, and there you go!
