My first Crop tonight

I'm going with a friend tonight to my first crop! It is 5.00 for a snack, drink and use of the tools from 7-12. I have no idea what to bring. I haven't scrapped in so long. I'm thinking maybe some supplies for card making to ease my way in. Help me!!

Are you really busy today? If not, I would try to sit down and put together a few "kits". Choose a few pictures that go together, a few papers that match them, and some embellishments and put them all in a ziplock together. That way you can spend your crop time actually scrapping instead of organizing and searching. Trust me, 5 hours seems like a long time now, but if you aren't prepared you will get home and realize you only got one or two pagers done. Also, if the tools include a cricut or any other diecut machine, I would try to bring some cardstock with me and spend a little time cutting titles for pages that I would like to do sometime soon. That way you would have them available the next time you decided to scrap at home. Beware: It is very easy to get stuck in the socializing trap. I know people who go to all day crops and never get anything done. :)

Yeah, the best thing you can do is organize yourself before you go...or you might find yourself at the crop, trying to organize and not croppin'!
I love to scrapbook. I was totally immersed in it for a while, but kind of got into a creative slump and put everything away for awhile.
I am heading to a weekend crop with some friends next week, so maybe that'll get me going again. I am so far behind in my pictures that it will take me a life time to catch up

you guys were right! I LOVED it! Can't wait to do it again. I made a kit to take for one event and it was so much easier. I actually got 4 pages done. I'm inspired again!!!
