I posted this in another thread but since there are still questions on the coupon policy the below info is what I have received thus far:

I have emailed several times with no response on this issue (coupon policy ). The CS rep said ( on phone ) that it is up to each individual store, but I still wanted it in "writing" she said there is nothing in "writing" , basically it is up to each store.

If and when Kroger CS ever emails back I will post that email in this thread.

You could always put what is in the ad... mine says something to the effect of "Unlimited Double Coupons Everyday!" but that would be regional as well

Mine also has a blurb about refusing to take coupons/sell you products if they think you are a re-distributor (and yes this has happened to me :/ )

mine says limit of 2 like IP per transaction.

I asked about the coupon policy at the Kroger where I shop and this is what I was told:
*Double coupons everyday up to a $0.50 face value - no limit
*Take IP coupons - no limit
*may use unlimited amount of coupons

This is for a Kroger store in Roanoke, VA

Apparently starting yesterday Kroger (the corporate office, so I'm assuming this means all stores) will no longer accept more than 3 like coupons of any type on any item. Their excuse is that they need to keep items on the shelf so that everyone has a chance to buy sale items. I left a 200 dollar order (which would have been $50 OOP with coupons) on the belt and walked out. I for one will not step foot in a Kroger again until they rethink their policy. Apparently they don't want my business.

I wonder when this started. I just bought 7 cottonelles and used 7 .50/1 making them free plus tax. I didn't have a problem at all at my store in Lynchburg VA.

I just moved to WV from Florida, so I called Kroger here to find out right away what their policy was. And this is what I was told;

Unlimited Mfr. Coupons
Double .50 and under Coupons Everyday (limit of 6 doubled)
2 Internet Printables per Transaction

Why are IPs in a classification of their own? There aren't TWO different type of Manufacturer coupons.... there's only ONE. This really frustrates me since I print a LOT of my coupons.

I asked why it was such a small limit and I got the same type of response as tarheeltwins, quote:

"if everyone came in using their internet printables and getting all this food and stuff for free then there'd be no food for anyone else... we have to save some food for other customers too honey."

My response; "Seriously? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard... aren't you STOCKING daily?!" It's not like these sales aren't over a span of 7 days... they act like the entire town is 1. shopping at Kroger (and they're not) and 2. they're shopping on the exact same day.

Whatever. I miss Publix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering how many like coupons Kroger will allow (day/transaction). Because like many on this site, I have traded for lots of cottonelle qs. If the limit is 3, I am going to have to either (a) make LOTS of trips to Kroger or (b) find some of my wonderful friends to assist me with a few lumped trips.

Kroger is a bit out of the way for me, so I hate to make multiple trips for something that is not on a short sale.

Do you think I could call the manager of the local store and find out their policy? Do you think I could just get them to order a bunch of cottonelle for me and I use my double coupons at one time (that way not reducing the on shelf stock)?

ok...here's a thought. I haven't asked my local Kroger or anything, but I just happened to look at our weekly ad online....and on the very first page, at the bottom right where it says it does double coupons, mine says "Everyday UNLIMITED Manufactures Double Coupons up to and including a face value of $.50. See store for details." Wouldn't the UNLIMITED part really mean unlimited? :D

Just thought that was interesting that it would be on there if it is, in fact, not really that way.

Just got back from my Kroger in Richmond, VA (Willow Lawn). They are no longer taking *any* IPs. :mad20:

This is new- within the week at most, because I was there last week and used a bunch of IPs for the Mega Event. I'm bummed, because this store is within walking distance from my house and I go there all the time. But seriously, if I can't use IPs I will not shop there anymore. I refuse to buy more than one Sunday paper, and I've been able to do really well by combining my one set of inserts (occasionally 2, when my in-laws give me theirs) and IPs.

This STINKS. :mad19:

There are two Krogers near my house and they are on the same street less than 1 mile apart. I called both of them to inquire about their coupon policy.

Basically they are the same: double up to .50 unlimited, but one takes as many IPs as you want to use (one per product, of course), and the other won't take them at all! So, obviously I go to the one that takes the IPs!

New Policy at our Kroger in Greenville, NC according to what some fellow couponers have said that a sign was placed at the cash register by the card machine (rather then at the door) saying that now accept only 1 mfg coupon on 1 product. So if your buying Cottenelle and have a $.50 off coupon and you want to get 10 packs and have 10 coupons you have to go thru the line 10 times to use your 10 coupons 1 at a time. If they continue this I know a lot of us will NOT be shopping there anymore.

This STINKS. :mad19:I had to check the date on your post. I shop at the Willow Lawn store almost exclusively and use one or two IPs every time I go. I know that I've used many IPs since 11/15. I've also doubled 10 of the same coupon as well without issue.

Seriously, if you ever have a problem just ask for George. He is a *very* customer service oriented manager and hates when his employees make up their own rules. I know this from personal conversations I've had with him. He admitted that he has (had) problems with some associates, and I've seen marked improvement over the past couple of months.

If George is the one that told you no more IPs, then I guess I'll be shopping more at the Eastridge store. I'd be surprised though if it was him. It's not at all the experience I've had.
