Synthoid
Register today to receive coupons good for $3 off a 30-tablet prescription or $10 off a 90-tablet or 100-tablet prescription of Synthroid when you pay the retail cash price.

Here’s how it works at your pharmacy:
Ask for the cash price. This means you will pay cash instead of using your insurance co-pay. Why? Synthroid may actually be less expensive when you pay the cash price rather than paying the insurance co-pay amount. The average cash price for 30 tablets of Synthroid (100 mcg) is $20.13*
Use your coupon with a new prescription or with a refill. Remember to present your coupon BEFORE your prescription is filled

Thank you to whoever posted the manufacturer's list of Rx coupons. I was exploring areas of HCW I hadn't discovered yet yesterday and came across a coupon for an Rx our family uses.

I took it to the pharmacy today to see if I could use it on an Rx the physician called in on Friday. Turns out it worked and saved our family $475!!!!!

I have been lurking on this message board for a couple of weeks. But Now I have something to add so I registered. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. I have insurance but my copays are high. Between me and my husband we spend more on drug copays then we do on gasoline or cell phone.

My nephew is a pharmacy technician down at Krogers in Ohio. He told me about a website called http:/www.internetdrugcoupons.com (http://www.internetdrugcoupons.com/)
He learned it from a pharmacist where he works. Apparently the druggist prints up coupons for the customers as a service and he uses that site.

This website has many drug coupons. I saved $35 on my excema medicine. And I read about an asthma spray on on of the other threads. It has coupons for asthma sprays too.

Free Adderall XR Trial Coupon (http://www.adderallxr.com/adult_adhd/resources/coupon.asp)

Note: I haven't used this in about six months so I don't know if it's still good. It's a nice one because you print it out the certificate right from your computer, rather than having to wait for the mail.

If memory serves, it is for a month supply, which runs ~$130-145 full retail. Since I have no Rx coverage this little coupon is my singularly best and biggest coupon deal of the year! In fact, I used it a couple of times (no problems) while waiting for my Prescription Assistance card from Shire (the drug company) to be mailed.

BTW, for others who have no Rx coverage and meet certain income guidelines (not as low as you think!), there are hundreds of drugs available for free (or next to nothing) directly from the drug companies. Of course, maybe there's already a thread on this ... I'll check, and post more if not.

Tell the druggist that you need an insurance receipt - he can print you up one from the pharmacy computer - they do this all the time. Send in both.

The two websites I use (to pay my copay) are:

optimizerx.com

and

internetdrugcoupons.com

Good luck!!

Also, if you don't have insurance, you can sign up for a discount card at freedrugcard.org

Ps, these coupons/cards cannot be used for those on tricare, medicare, medicaid and usually but always cannot be used in Massachusetts

Rep me if I helped! (I worked as a pharmacy tech for 3 1/2 years so I know how to save money on rx's!)

Try CVS. They have a lot of printable coupons like $15/$75 and $10/$50. Plus, you can pay with extracre bucks which are often easy moneymakers.

I have bought a lot of meters and earned free ECBs, and have rolled a lot of these into test strips to give along with the donations.

I used to work at a pharmacy to pay my college tuition, when someone came in that either had insurance that wouldn't cover diabetic supplies or no insurance, I told them to go to the following websites or google "free drug card" (just be careful - some are fake and others use false advertisement - the two I used to recommend the most are below)

They normally give you a 10-30% discount but you do have to get an RX from your doctor in order to use the card.

Try:
Free drug card - download prescription drug card (http://www.freedrugcard.us/)
Welcome To Together Rx Access (http://www.togetherrxaccess.com/)

Also, in addition to using the discount card (with RX), fill your rx for them at cheaper stores that have pharmacies (ie. Walmart or grocery stores in your area - believe it or not, many of them have cheaper rx prices than the classic Walgreens/CVS/RiteAid/etc)

HTH!

Thanks for the responses to the test strips. What about the drug cards? I went to the site and filled out the information. They are printing now. I do have United Health Care insurance, but our insurance changed since Jan. 1st. The strips used to cost us $0, they are now quoting us $60. Can I use the card and not say I have insurance if it is a better deal, or is that illegal??? Thanks bunches! ~Cindy

Now since your primary will cover it AT ALL, YMMV here. Some techs that are certified and actually deal with back billing and whatnot will refuse to let you use anything other than your primary insurance. Other techs that just don't know or don't care will let you use whichever is cheaper. Luckily, just hope that you get a nice one at some point (hopefully the first fill) because once they choose whichever card to bill, it'll default to that one every time until someone manually changes it. You could always hand them the discount card and say something like can you use this card since my insurance co told me they'll no longer cover my strips? Most techs wouldn't take the time to bother to check if they actually do or not and again, some just might not care. I always let people use whichever was cheaper but I've had one or two techs since I've quit and moved across state that have denied me using a discount card instead of my primary insurance - my answer to that is just use one pharmacy that knows about my primary insurance and all my rx's that are cheaper with just the discount, I take to another pharmacy that only knows about the discount card. They're going to lose out on some of my business now..oh well

This thread really needs to be updated, I would say a significant amount of these are expired.

one alternative to finding manufacturer coupon for each drug is using a discount drug card. As long as you don't have insurance, these cards can save you a lot. Or if you have insurance, but a certain drug isn't coverage, these come in handy.

Here's a few I would try:
MedSaver Card (http://www.medsavercard.com/)
Rx Free Card (http://www.rxfreecard.com)

or this one can be used for pet medicine
PetMedSaver Card (http://www.petmedsavercard.com)

Thanks for posting these. I wasn't familiar with the pet card.
