There was a Quaker deal at this time last year too but it seems like it was better. Maybe it seemed better because I needed those items. Maybe I'll start saving my ads to compare year to year.

The quaker deal looks pretty good to me. The instant cereal is regular price of $4.87 a box at Fred Meyer....

10 box = $15.00
minus - 7.00 (10 .70/1 coupons)
minus - 2.00 (Safeway db coupon)
________________________________
10 boxes for $6.00, so for 60cents a box I'm happy.

seems to me the simple harvest is a great deal. I just saw $1.oo off coupons on those. So 10/$15 - 10 $1. coupons = 5.00 and use a safeway doubler to make it 10 for 3.00

My Albertsons (Cornell Rd. in Hillsboro, OR) will accept up to 10 competitors coupons. I have in the past used multiple Safeway doublers. I'm going to try it again with 10 Safeway doublers. This Albertson's had STACKS of $1 off Simple Harvest Instant Oatmeal OR Simple Harvest Granola Bars. If I can use 10 SW doublers that would make them all FREE!

10 for $15
-10- $1 coupons for Simple Harvest stuff ($10)
-10- 50 cent doublers from SW ($5)
equals
ZERO!

Hope it works in your area!

i just did the same thing...possibly at the same location..hehe
although most local stores only double up to 8....

but just picked up 10 boxes of the granola bars.....it seems the tearpads will be at most places, since its a granola bar display. these coupons are good until 12/31/08

Thanks again for the early post, Superbob. I added matchups and I'll add more things to your OP. I figure it's easier on everyone if everything's in one place.
D

ETA: I think I got the highlights. If anyone else sees something interesting (like the Fred Meyer coupons - I don't have that here, so thanks, iwik!), please post!

Freschetta Bread Sticks $2, free with the $2 peelie. These aren't too bad either. They are stuffed.

Diva, just wanted to say you are DA BOMB for matching all the Q's up for us. And SuperBob is, indeed, super for posting the ad!

There are $1 Aquafresh coupons in one of this weekend's many SmartSource inserts also. My two closest stores haven't had them in stock for a month though. I got a raincheck on Dec. 4 when they were 10 for $10 and have checked back often but they haven't had them in stock. I hope they have some this time!

If you need the toothbrushes I'd ask at customer service to get them ordered in for you. I've had them order lots of things for me that there wasn't enough of on the shelf etc.

Where exactly do you find this coupon? Is it found at the store hanging (like the orangey colored ones) or is this in their monthly coupon book?
TIA

I'm curious too. I looked today with no luck. Looked briefly in the monthly flyer too.

The Fred Meyer coupon was one of the yellow-orange ones at the shelf. The expiration date doesn't match the Extra Savings Book dates, (and I didn't see it in there), and it said manufacturer's coupon. There were other coupons around that had that same expiration date so it must be some sort of mystery pricing cycle. HTH.
I found a Catalina yesterday at Albertsons that just says 'Sweeten it up with 4 weeks of coupon savings' and the Albertsons logo. Anybody know what this is about?

here is a great deal if you by random chance have all the coupons, but Fred Meyer has a Smart Ones frozen dinner coupon this week for 6/$10. if you have the $1/2 peelies from last year(little purplish black things), they are doubleable. so $10 - $3 - $1.50(double) = 6/$5.50....which is a great price for these.

also i noticed tonight that, that Diet Coke Plus 12 packs had $1 peelies, these can be doubled. good until next fall.

also 2 albertsons had 0.50 peelies on the Sobe Life Waters. take these to safeway where they are $1 this week, and doubled = free.

they also had new tearpads of B2G1 strawberry twizzlers, box of whoppers, box of milk duds. i took a few. this week at walgreens, these items are 2/$3(they ring up as 1.99 and 1.01, odd...)...and a monthly book coupon $1/2. use 4 tearpad coupons, and have the clerk take off $1.99 x 4(YMMV, they did for me..), then use the monthly book coupon, = 12 items for free.....

The peelies were on the medium and large Freschetta PizzAmores, if you find them you can get the breadsticks free with the pizza. Safeway has the mediums for $3.99.

At my Albies this morning, it was unlimited free 2 liters of Dr. Pepper! They had an employee pretty much offering to load up your cart as you walk in, and a cashier verified it's as many free ones as you want. I got 4 as I was in a bit of a hurry.

If you have a Rite Aid their Post cereals are BOGO this week. Of course, I am not positive they sell milk... never tried to buy it there.:shrug7: So maybe that is no help.

Thanks for the heads up.. Rite Aid DOES have milk, but I think last time I checked the cereals were so expensive they BOGO wasn't even a decent deal. I'm praying for a REALLY good deal somewhere

I have a RC for chicken being $1.69 lb. Anyone think I could combine this with the BOGO chicken today? So it would make one free and the other only $1.69 lb.

Any opinions? TIA!
