Not a single "free" on the list. Surprising. At least the $1/1 Peter Pan will mean free peanut butter in some places.

MOD EDIT: momgenet posted the following message during the time stamp error and it got buried so I'm just bringing it forward

I got an email today from the Peter Pan company stating (Conagra?) that the coupons will be for $1 and it will be free at MOSt retailers . . . . .

I'm sure that's a YMMV, but it was advertised this way by the manufacture!!!!

Make sure you look through your whole insert package. I found the following:

A coupon for Clorox Green on a separate advertisement
In the Parade (there were two different versions) one version had Metamucil both had Nyquil and Prilosec
a General Mills insert!!

There's a Muir Glen $0.75 (will double/triple!!)
Cascadian Farms $0.75
and a bunch of others (those are just the ones I really like)

Yes, do get out the feathers... I have this little no-name grocery store a few miles from my house. They are SO overpriced ($3.98 for a box of hamburger helper, $4.17 for a box of Velveeta Mac & Cheese, etc...) Well, I saw in thier weekly ad, the Peter Pan Peanut butter 8/$8! It's amazing! lol

they had a poster up at our gas station advertising that the washington pst would have 6 inserts in it. We live in the eastren panhandle of WV. I usually pick up the Winchester star that does not run on Sunday so their sat paper is only .50 and you get coupons.

The last three times I bought Sunday papers (at Walmart, or across the street at Dollar Tree) I was lucky to get one paper out of three which had all the inserts. The ones missing are ALWAYS the ones with the food items. Today I bought two papers, and one had all the inserts. I don't need more air fresherner coupons, but those I get in every paper. I think someone's got to be taking them...it's happened too often to be a coincedence....and I try to "feel" to make sure the paper is "fat". Very discouraging.

mama22qts
01-06-2008, 03:00:24 PM
Well, we didn't get a single one of the coupons that I was so excited about. Thank goodness I have a source for whole inserts, but it's ridiculous that all we get is junk that nobody needs. I mean seriously $1/10 lean cuisine?? Come on.:rolleyes24:

75c viva paper towels

2 Knorr coupons in the spanish inserts

Oh in case anyone's interested, there's an ad for CVS w. the $20 one touch monitor which states:

Feature Price....$19.99

Final Price $0.00
with OneTouch Coupon in this insert

So for anyone who has problems w. the adjustment of coupons, they can throw that in their face....whoops I mean show it to them. I'm trying to scan it but my scanner is not cooperating.
