Kroger Regions and Sale Cycle - At least give me credit I put a lot of time putting this list together.
This list is intended to trend sales, catalinas, P&G Super Saver sales, and any other "tagged" type sales. I often look at other sales regions ads and catch deals in my area.

So, how can we tell if a particular region follows another or not? Like, if Township boy's region (sun-sat) has a great sale I want in on, will my region (tx) follow his or what?

Most times it does - prices may vary. HTH.

Just an FYI, the Hannibal MO and Troy MO stores are Tuesday-Monday. Not sure which region they follow, though.

Mexi will need to add this -
your region will follow all the regions that proceed your sales dates - you can take a sneak peek looking at any of those ads. Prices usually vary.

I thank you for the list you put together :BigHand:This is also on their website. Kroger (http://www.kroger.com/mykroger.htm)
There were many others who contributed to this info as well in the old thread and I equally thank them.
The Super Mods had asked us a while ago to delete old stickies from old Mods or other sources and make new ones showing that we are the Mods of the Forum that is what I have done. I'm cleaning up the forum as I announced and there will be some posts and threads that will be deleted.

Okay I think this is awesome that you guys are seperating it YAH! Thank you
BUT one ?...where is WV?....
Ya know what as I typed this I went back to see if I missed it and I think I see the problem I dont mean to sound stupid or like a B-word but it looks like in mid atlantiic it says west VA except panhandle soooooo do you mean WV? Because West Virginia is a state with the abbrevation of WV some people stilluse WVA but thats not actually correct either but its not west VA --that would be the western part of the state of VA......but thats where the me being stupid part comes in I though WV was the only one with a panhandle but maybe Im wrong lol
Again not trying to be rude if it was a mistake Im just confused and I think maybe its beause of the wrong abbrevation or maybe its because its way past my bedtime!
Im gonna shut up now

Ok I found the Kroger that I get ads for. But here I have stores that are owned by kroger but don't carry their name. How do you all get the ads before they come out? Or is that an insider top shhh? I would love to have my stores. But I'm probably the only person here who is on here. So do I find their website to get preview to sale ads?

I can't speak for others, but as for the Delta region we don't have any access to the ads until the are actually active on their website (for us- Wed morning). A couple of our members used to get the ads in the mail before the sale started but they are no longer mailing it out ahead of time.

Hello...
I'm new here...my niece clued me in about the forum...and couponing!!!
I am just exploring and getting acquainted with everything.
I am confused about the different Kroger regions....I called my Kroger and they say they are with the "Columbus" Ohio Kroger...
does anyone know what "region" that falls under???
It seems like different regions have different specials...so I need to know!!
Thanks!!

You are technically in the great lakes region. You could find it by going to this thread. (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kroger-chain-stores/62121-kroger-regions-sale-cycle.html)
I am also Great Lakes, however my ad is showing some slight differences than the ad listed in the Great Lakes thread.
Good Luck!

Hi again Pammi, I am glad you asked this because I was not too sure myself. I haven't shopped at Krogers since I lived in OH in the 70's-80's and that was in Columbus. So I wonder which one I would fall under?

If you can't figure it out from the list here: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kroger-chain-stores/62121-kroger-regions-sale-cycle.html (as posted above), the best advice I can give is to look at your local ad and compare it to the ones that are online in the regions that you think you may belong to. Does that make sense? Go to www.kroger.com (http://www.kroger.com) and tell it you want to look at ads from a zipcode in those major cities. I know that neither of you would be in the Delta region, but just as an example I use zip code 38002 which is a Memphis zip when I post our ads. Even though my local ad isn't online, it is very similar to the ones that I can find online from Memphis. I hope that clears things up instead of further muddying the waters. It is going to take some detective work on your part because the Kroger mods don't know where the regions really fall, either. It isn't always logical (at least to me anyway)!

You would probably want to look at Indiana/Illinois aka "Central (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/kroger-central/)". They are a couple of days ahead (and several behind). Some of the deals will be the ones you just had, while others will be "coming up."
Also, for anyone that can't find their region easily -- go to the Kroger website and pull up the weekly ad for your store. Then look at the web address -- the first word is your region.

Does this include Fred Meyer in the Pacific Northwest? They're a Kroger store, right?

Yep, Fred Meyer is a Kroger store (checked on the Kroger main Website).
FYI: In Phoenix, AZ the Fry's (Kroger) sales run from Wed to Tues as well. Such an odd sales cycle!

Can i get another set of eyes on this to confirm what I suspect is true?
We live in Phoenix, AZ, and are on the Wed-Tue cycle. Our current Fry's (Kroger) sales ad is easy to spot across other regions because it's the Mother's Day and the Buy 10/Save 5 paper. Dead obvious ads. When I looked at folks ahead of us in terms of WEEKDAY (the Tennessee River Valley, Richmond, Virginia, etc., who are Sun-Sat), their ad is the same Mother's Day, yadda, but its start date isn't Sunday BEFORE us, it's the Sunday AFTER us.
Is Phoenix (and Los Angeles, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Central Kansas, etc., who I found are also with us on the Wed-Tue cycle and have the same ad and dates this week that we do)... Are we FIRST in line? Is this week (perhaps because of Mother's Day) an atypical week? Can Phoenix sneak peek ANYONE'S ads? =(
My findings, Rough Data:
Mother's Day & Buy 10/Save 5 ad dates
PHX, AZ 5/4-5/10
Richmond, VA 5/8-5/14
Atlanta, GA 5/8-5/14
Raleigh-Durham, NC 5/8-5/14
Nashville and Knoxville, TN 5/8-5/14
Detroit, MI 5/9-5/15
Indianapolis and Lafayette, IN 5/5-5/11
Venice (Los Angeles), CA 5/4-5/10
Hutchinson, KS 5/4-5/10
Chicago, IL 5/4-5/10
Salt Lake City, UT 5/4-5/10
Lexington, KY 5/8-5/14
