I am a little confused. My WAGs just told me a particular deal ended yesterday, but another poster said she still got her RR for it today. Are cats different from RR in regards to what you've posted here? Or should we ask someone who got this RR to do as instructed above to find out when it ends?

Is this true for ALL catalinas? There is some confusion about the Randalls/Safeway catalina deal. A catalina from 1/29 said "buy certain items and use card between 1/25 & 2/17", but it doesn't actually say you have to buy the certain items between 1/25 and 2/17. Signs in the store say that it ended Sunday, Feb. 10, and the $10 catalina said "purchase between xx and 2/10". Of course, I just used my last catalina to buy a gift card, before I forgot about it, so I don't have the catalina so that i could call the phone#!

Sometimes a RR offer last longer than the sale of the item. It is of ocourse cheaper to get when the item is on sale. Most of the time in the rr/catalina section people will put a date in the thread title that is the xpiration date. I have noticed alot do not have dates but it is really helpful when we remember to post that information as well as the numbers that run vertically on the catalina.

These were the color wonder packs. It was a good deal at 2/7.99. They sell for 7.67 at my SWM. I bought them for my granddaughter and for my nephew and niece for Christmas. They make good gifts and the extra 2.00 will get me something else for my granddaughter to do when she comes over. I love Crayola products anyway.:smile3: I guess it was a Catalina, but could have been a RR. I am new at these different names these coupons are called. I've just always called them coupons over the years. Someone correct me if I'm not doing this right. I welcome all help.:shrug7:

I am new at this, too, and just went to Walgreens today for the first time. I got the diaper deal, which was awesome and the 5 cent school supplies but only got $5 RR, no $3/2 catalina for Dixie - and I bought two of them. I'm wondering if I should return those. I'm sure I'll use them at some point but with no coupon it wasn't a great deal.

Okay fellow HCW's, I don't know if this will work for you, but today I purchased two of the mitchum, unscented, clear gel for men deodorants and I used two of the $1.99 Walgreen coupons and two of the .75 off mfg coupons from 7/20 paper and I received a catalina for $2.00 off my next Mitchum. I don't know if your purchases made trigger the catalina's or not, but I thought I would share this with everyone. Hope it helps someone.

I tried it today and they would not let me do both. I do this at CVS (combine a crt coupon with a mfg q) all the time and I don't have any problems. Everytime I have tried to do it a WAGS, they deny it. What am I doing wrong? Is there a special order in which I should hand them the coupons. I tried doing the Sure promo that was suggested on this forum...no go for me.
They told me that I could only use one IVC at a time per transaction, even if I was buying two of the items....Help. TIA. Have a great day.

It's true, IF you are only buying one item. You need to have one item for EACH MQ you are using. Example: if you are trying to use one MQ and one RR, you will need to have 2 items. This is why you see people posting that they need a "filler"- which is a really inexpensive item (such as one pencil).

It sounds like your store is enforcing the limit stated on the coupon/IVC. Also, the catalina coupons are MQ, so you can only use one MQ per item. However, you should be able to use one MQ and one WAG Q per item purchased. As with pretty much everything at WAG, it's YMMV. The manager makes the rules for his/her store. Very frustrating, I know. :rolleyes24:

I was just at WG tonight and purchased the Fussion Razor, $1 fruipunch drink mix (filler for RR/Coupons), and two bottles of clearance Tide laundry soap.
I got my RR AND a Catalina for $1.50 off Pampers. I have to assume the two bottles of clearance Tide triggered the catalina to print.

A catalina is the name of the machine walgreens uses to print their instore coupons, and register rewards. if you have ever shopped there and had a coupon print out at the end of the transaction that's a "catalina" coupon.

sometimes it just prints randomly based one stuff you buy, other times it's the rr's!

not all Unilever products were included in the RR deal. The signs state select products. The dove/degree on sale in the ad didn't say anything about the items producing a RR, so I don't believe and from what others are posting they are included

I took advantage of the Unilever deal last week. I bought 5 bottles of Sunsilk shampoo, and 1 bottle of Sunsik conditioner, so I should have received $6 in RR. But the catalina machine only gave me one $2 RR. I called the catalina company, and the representative confirmed that there was an error. He will be sending me a $4 RR within 8-10 weeks. So it really does pay to follow-up if you suspect an error!

Ok maybe someone here can explain this. I got 6 jars of Ragu and to bottles of Mayo. I got the 8$ RR. Later that night, after getting son from work, I went to a different Wal greens and got 2 Right guard with a $1 off 2, the Fusion Power Razor (on sale for $9.99) with a $4 off coupon. I needed to add $3 to use them because rr will not do sales tax. I decided to get the Lipton tea 2 for $5 (buy 8 and get $8) the machine only spit out a RR for $2.50. Did I do something the wrong way?

If you used the Unilever RR from the Ragu deal to pay for the Lipton, it will NOT print out another RR. You cannot use an RR from the same deal to generate another one (ie....Unilever for another Unilever). Both Lipton and Ragu are the same Unilever deal. Make sense?

It is truly an art form to get thiese walgreens RR all figured out. I suppose it get better as you gain more esperience. I was gonna do my first attempt today but I ended up working late. Will attempt it in AM (I think) Gonna start with fusion razor and ragu one. Maybe a couple more after I look at list.
