I wonder who the mom of five is who sent the letter recommending this site! Kudos to her!

About half way down the page is where they are talking about it. Pretty interesting that they think you cant feed one person on $150 a month :shrug7:when there is alot of us that feed a family of many for less than that. :BigHand:

Wow! It didn't hit my local paper, but cool that it hit LA!
I did write her. A few weeks ago, the column was about a law student with bills and how to cut back and cutting back on food was impossible - blah blah blah, and Liz's comment was that they could get to $150 for one person!!! One person???? I had to at least mention that there was another way out there to do that, and that $150 for one person???? Man, I'd be NY steakin' and shrimpin' it every night if I had $150 for each of us.
Thanks for all the great comments! I wasn't expecting it to get published, but it's nice to see she thought enough about the site to publish it with the plug in there!

I have a friend in law school right now. Man, I seriously hope this wasn't him.... $150 a month is pretty darn extravagant per person...

Well, speaking as a single person, it's VERY easy to feed myself AND my two cats for less than $150 a month! And I don't buy generic. hahaha.
Great to see she included your letter with the link, Julie. Of course, Liz could've done without adding the other sites. haahahaha:whistle:
