The scoop on ASweetheart
ASweetheart's name in real life: Alicia
Age: 26
Home State: Alicia joins us as a member from Massachusetts, and has been a SAHM.
Kids: 3 children
Pets: Kitty and bunny
In Alicia's own words:
Favorite Money Saving Tip: "Never pay full price for anything. With a little research, a fistful of coupons, and a good sale anything can be affordable."
Budget: small
Stores she shops: Shaws, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart and Kmart.
Coupon Organization Method: "Organization?? What's that??"
Best Advice to Newbies: "Start small, take baby steps when learning the art of couponing. Create a budget, find out what products you use regularly, and learn how to achieve a rock-bottom price on them. Stay away from buying stuff you really don't need or want just because it is cheap."
Some ADMIN notes about Alicia:
Hard work in a busy section of the board is what got Alicia nominated as Mod of the Month for June. As the mod of the Trader section of the site, there was a lot to do and keep going so to ensure trades for people happened the right way. What we liked about Alicia was that she did a great job keeping in good communication with both mods and members about what was going on in her section. And you could always count on her to help whenever you needed her to.
Sadly, life got a little busy for Alicia so she had to step down as a mod at the end of the summer for us. We totally understand - family comes before coupons! But we'd love to have her back whenever she's able. Her kind help to newbies had our inbox flooded with nominations. And even though she's not currently a mod, she still goes out of her way to help people when she can.
