Lightbulbs, the tape, and the Garnier Shine Spray (no shampoo on stock) but hope to get a few more things tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday!

I've gotten the Gaviscon, the GUM, the GE light bulbs, the Garnier spray, The Glade carpet deodorizers, the tape...

Also have gotten 21 packs of Cristal pens, 2 packs of Papermate pens, 8 boxes of crayola crayons, between 15-20 packs of excedrin and another set of 2 Glade Carpet Deodorizers..that even after I already did rebate for the other 2 to get them free...it's still .50¢ a piece! :BigHand:

OMG I think I'm going a little too Rite Aid crazy!

I went tonight and got this:

10pks Papermate pens
4pks Crayola Crayons
4pks Excedrin
5 Glade Carpet Cleaners

Total $0.00

Well I didn't realize it would get THAT low because I have been going to Brooks and the registers there are different but my total came down too $1.72 but she still had one more $2.00 coupon for the Excedrin to scan so the manager came over and just adjusted it down to the total so I walked out with everything for FREE!

My husband bought light bulbs full price this weekend. The next day, I went to Rite Aid to show him how to shop. I got 4 GE reveal light bulb 4-packs and ended up paying $0.95 a pack.
Reg price = 2/$5 (4/$10)
AR = 2/$3 (4/$6)
I had a $1 coupon, and 3 packs had $0.40 peelies AC = 4/$3.80
The weekly flyer said limit 1 rebate, but the rebate paper says limit 2.

Also...Electrasol gelcaps. Reg = $4-5, sale price = 2.99, AR = $.99, AC = $.49.
Then...Crest mouthwash for FREE AR
And... Aquafresh free AR, made overage with $1 coupon

I got some good prices on Air Wick oil refills and a free warmer as well. I didn't get everything for free, but technically I'm still a newbie! :wink7:
After I showed this to my husband, he agreed to let me do the shopping.

We had a grand opening for a Rite Aid this week and they ran their own specials.

Mott's Applesauce was only 2/$1. I had a $1/2, but they were out. I got a raincheck for 16 jars then came home and bought 10 coupons on Ebay for $2. 16 jars for $2 isn't too bad!!

I also got the following:

5 Reach Toothbrushes ($.99 - free w/ $1 mfc)
AF Toothpaste (made $1 with the mfc/after src)
Crest Toothpaste (made $1 with the mfc after src)
Dish detergent (only $.45 after rebate/mfc)

I was very excited b/c we use the Xtra Laundry soap and that was on sale for $1.99. So after my coupons/SCR, my total OOP will only be about $16!!!! I got 9 things of detergent in addition to all of the above.

My $20 gift of savings finally came in the mail today and I didn't waste any time using it!

My purchases:
1 pack Huggies- $10.99
4 boxes of Kleenex- $6
(got me over $25 for KC Room solutions card)
1 box of Electrasol- $2.99
1 Schick Quattro- $6.99
1 SoyJoy bar- $1.39

My coupons:
$2 Huggies
$0.50 Kleenex
$2.25 Electrasol
$4 Schick
$1.39 SoyJoy

The total got to $22.82 and my $4 Schick coupon wouldn't scan so she scanned my $20 GOS check and I told her not to worry about the $4 coupon because my total was now $2.82. She said, "oh no, I'll just put it in as $4 cash." She paid me $1.18 to walk out the door with all that stuff and I will get $15.50 back in rebates! My first (and probably only time) they will give me change back.

I love freebies!
I was able to find everything that was a freebie on this week's ad. I've learned the secret to that....be there at 8 am Sunday morning, as soon as the doors open. The cashier did wonder how I knew about the sales items when the flier was just out this morning. I just smiled and said, "Oh, I have my connections." Thanks, justmeagain! :BigHand:
My oop was $41.48 and my rebate from this trip alone will be $45.69. They are paying me $4.26 to take stuff from their store. And it just wasn't the FAR stuff that I bought today. I also bought 16 cans of tuna, some mandarin oranges and a couple of other sale items. LOVE IT!
FYI....the dove candy is on sale 2/5, I used a BOGO free Q and the cashier took off the reg price of 4.39, so I got both for 61 cents!

Here're my two latest brags:
Friskies canned cat food had a RC for 15 of these at .33 each, but this month there's also a Rebate of $2.40 on 12 or more or something like that, so I combined the two deals to make it like this:
15 cans of Friskies @ .33/each=$4.95
-June Friskies SCR of $2.40=$2.55
Divide that back by 15 cans and it ended up as: $.17/each (normally are .75/each)!
I was sooooo proud of myself on this one, b/c I never get rainchecks, especially at RA, b/c they always give me a headache about it, but I knew that was a good price on the Friskies to begin with, and then when the June SCR had Friskies listed, I knew I'd hit gold with that RC.

My other one was today:
1 Glade Scented Oil Candle $5.99
-$4.00 coupon (thank you RAOK!)
-$3.00 SCR
1 M Prof. Gel $5.99
-$5.99 SCR
1 Monistat Soothing Care Powder Gel $4.99
-$4.99 SCR
1 Bonine for Kids $2.99
-$2.99 SCR
=$1.01 Profit on $25.96 in products!

Bonus was that my Shift Supervisor AND cashiers were both DOLLS when I mentioned that they were out of like EVERYTHING and helped me locate some of these frees hidden away as well as ordering one of the other FREES that they didn't have from another store so I can come pick it up tomorrow!

My brag is on a much smaller scale, but I am new to RA, so I thought it was fun:

I had the RA coupon for buy one 50ct tylenol and get a 50ct RA acetaminophen free. Tylenol had an SCR of $2 attached to it this week, and a 2/$9 sale price. RA also had their acetaminophen B1G1 free.

Tylenol 50ct $4.50 - $1MQ
Tylenol 8 hr 40ct $4.50 - $1MQ
RA 50ct acetaminophen B1G1 free this week, so I got two

Total $7.00 + tax for the Tylenol and I got TWO RA acetaminophens for free with a $2 SCR check coming at the end of the month!!

That's four packs of acetaminophen for only $5!!

I just wanted to let you know the experience I had with RA yesterday. After shopping, I paid for my stuff and when I got home, I noticed I forgot to give them one of my coupons, which was a $5.00, so I called them and they said next time I was in the store they would fix it. I went back last night with my coupon and receipt. And they fixed it with no problems. I paid with debit card and they gave me cash back. I was amazed. They were so nice about it too.

Thanks for this post! I bought the Febreeze Noticables last week, and had a $2 coupon that I did not use. I might see what they can do for me about this one, because it will make a good deal and even better one:

$7.99 febreeze noticeables
-$2 MQ
-$2 SCR

$3.99 + tax total and a MIR for the full price of $7.99!!!:BigHand:

I will totally be using my Pedicures, too, to get the max value out of those! Also, the shave gel and all that trial stuff was in a Bonus pack for the Venus razors, and it rang up with the sale price on the razor, used my coupon and should be getting the rebate, too!

OH MY GOSH...ROFL I am just so excited. This is my first really big and impressive (to me) purchase. I am just really bummed that they didn't have the Loreal Hydra Gloss shampoo/Conditioner but I'll be swinging by WGs to see if they have it. :)

SO....my total overage is ... $5.66 (I took out the Dial and the Tax so it was actually $8.77 before) making my entire bill free even with tax. :excited1:

Went to Rite Aid today and got a ton of colgate toothpaste free. It was on sale for .99 and I had MQ for 1.00 off any colgate toothpaste from 7-27-08 SS. Great deal because I'm new to this and anything free is a plus.

I have never set foot in a Rite Aid before today- but earlier today I started to notice how many things I could get for free or cheap with the coupons I already have (I just started doing this, so not many)...

I got 2 Colgate toothpaste for -0.01 (I only had 2 coupons, otherwise I would have bought more..)
1 Fructis conditioner (for curly hair! Yay!) that will be -1.00 once the rebate goes thru
2 Clearasil face scrubs, B1g1 with $2/1 coupons for each (they were about .90 a piece)
Aleve with the manufacturer coupon stacked w/ the circular coupon (cost .99)
And 4 Lady Speed Stick deodorants (the gel kind, yay) for .50 a piece after coupons.

I paid $6.63 out of pocket for about $40/worth of stuff. With the rebate, it wil be $3.65 out of pocket. I would have bought Irish Spring soap, but they were out of that, so I got a rain check. I feel proud of myself!

1 - 1.00 Pert

Holy Cow! I just did my very first Rite Aid trip and it was great!!! The lady checking me out scanned 2 of my coupons twice! She thought they weren't going through because they didn't show up on the screen (I thought they hadn't gone through either). But when I got home and looked at my receipt, they were scanned twice! So, I got:

Revitalift - $14.99-$3 mfr coupon - $14.99 SCR = made $3
Crest 4.2oz - $2.49 - $2 ($1 mfr coupon scanned twice) - $1.74 SCR = made $1.25
3 BIC Mark-It markers - $.99/3 - $2 ($1 mfr coupon scanned twice) = made $1.01

So today I just made $5.26!

I'm already addicted (I know those double coupons won't happen again, but it made me happy today!)

I can't wait to go back!

My first brag for Riteaids.

My mother and I stopped in, me to get some shampoo (with coupons of course) and no idea what my mother got.

I was looking at the shampoo, and noticed a bunch of 75% off signs.

I looked at one, Pantene Pro-V Expressions, I saw that it was for treated hair, so I mentioned it to my mother. Then I remembered I had 3 $1 off coupons. So she snagged 3 bottles of them.

6.49 normal price
1.62 rang up
-1.00 coupon
=0.62 per bottle

I was sooo happy. My order was for 8 bottles of shampoo for $12 I was happy, but not as happy as her deal.

BF had Dr. appt Friday... ended up getting a prescription for a new (on the market 4 mos. new) pain med. Hit Target on the way home. They didn't have it. Started making calls and no one had it (they could get it by Wednesday). He left for Cali this morning so waiting beyond the weekend was going to cause problems. Called Walmarts, Rite Aids, Wallgreens, Safeways... (dang! this IS new! LOL ) Found a Walmart 40 miles away that had it and finally found a Rite Aid that had it. Hopped back in the car and drove the 20 miles to RA. They had exactly the 120 tabs he needed. When we went to pay the co-pay was $50 (expected it to be). So I put up a $25 GC coupon. The CSR almost processed it and then asked the pharmacist. The pharmacist was GREAT! She said the coupon was only good on a transfer but, she signed off on it for me. So I paid the $50 and got a $25 RA GC! She didn't have to do it at all, so we were thrilled! *now I have to figure out how to keep the cost down... darn med is working well for him so far* lol
