I think the patern with gas deals is that durring the last week of any gas points period (usually about 2 months or so), Giant does not have gas bonus points deals. May have something to do with not having angry customers if they can't use the points and they end up expiring if they get a bunch in the last week but don't have time to use up the gas in their tank.

Thanks for the sneek peek!

How about red beans & rice or spanish rice? I also like to make this black bean dish and serve it on top of white rice. Yum! Of course everything I suggested is a main dish, not a side dish. How about adding rice to burritos? So many possibilities...

My family likes rice, but I can't get them to eat whole grain spaghetti. I "hide" it in a rice-a-roni type dish. Put some oil in a pan, shake the rice around it in a little bit -- maybe two minutes or so. Break the spaghetti into 1-inch pieces, and add that to the pan. Add water to cover (I prefer chicken bouillion). Cover the pan. You can check and stir periodically if you like, and you may need to add more water. Usually it's done in about 30 minutes.

When I first started using whole grain spaghetti, I used it to make chinese lo mein. The soy sauce makes the pasta dark and no body noticed the different pasta. Also pasta salad with balsamic vinegar.

Thanks for the rice recipe.

My family likes this sauce. We have used it on both chicken and shrimp. They also have recipe on their website for a burger spread that was good.
