I wonder if we can combine that $3 off fresh turkey with the $0.27/lb turkey sale? Hmm... and is the $25 to spend to get the $0.27/lb turkey before Qs?

I thought so at first...then realized that "Farm Fresh" was the brand, and "Frozen" is the description :rolleyes24:. If you look a few pages later, there are prices listed for the "Fresh" turkeys, and below them, in smaller print, is the lower price for the "Frozen" turkeys of the same brand. I was all excited for a minute there :hectic:

OP, I tried to rep ya, but it says I gotta spread the love :sad3: TYVM tho!

ETA, re: $25 purchase, it doesn't have the "After Manuf Q" disclaimer that shows up on P&G sales at Albies, so we at least have a good argument for it being before q's! The whole "after q" policy really chaps my behind, b/c it's not like Albies isn't getting that money...it reminds me of the Target fiasco, only they are up-front about the fact that they are taking advantage.

Thanks for the post! I'm really excited about the Ragu on sale for 99c wyb 10. There is a $1/2 coupon in the Safeway coupon booklet making them 49c each. Or if you wait to use your doubles, you can get 10 for $1.90.

Wonder if we can use today's RP free pasta WYB 2 Ragu in conjunction with these? If so, with doubles, it would be 10 sauce and 5 pasta for $1.90; even without doubles, $4.90 is still a pretty good deal for all that.

Oh I so hope we can stack the B2 Ragu G1 Pasta free with the $1/2! Has anyone tried anything similar before and had it work?

I've done this many times and it works at my stores. The coupon does beep because you are using 2 coupons for what is coded for one item. They are both coded for the Ragu, but it should still work. All my stores (even the most unfriendly coupon stores) will push this kind of coupon through.

I am excited about more free GG veggies. I have not had enough freezer room to really stock up on these and I like these veggies a lot.

Yep, this worked at my store at well. The cashier looked it over and pushed it on in.

I'm trying to decide if I should go buy the Ragu today or wait until Doublers and *Hope* they still have some left. The one by my house almost always runs out of the deals and for last years Ragu sale they ran completely out EARLY!

Checking in to see if this week regular members can start the wiki or if I need to start it.

Also wanting to see if you all are liking the wiki feature and if you have any feedback to give on it. If you want to PM me with feedback on the wiki that would be great so that we don't clutter up the deal thread.

Potential bad news for me, QOTH, and any other Wyoming couponers...our ad is slightly off ($0.12/lb more for the turkey, PLUS a $50 min. purchase instead of just $25); the last time I noticed little discrepancies like that, Seattle got doublers and we didn't. Fingers crossed that we do get them again, but I'm not holding my breath--our Albies are so stingy anyway about coupons that I won't really be surprised if we don't get them again.

And more randomness...remember how last week I called corporate to ask re: using two q's on a BOGOF sale? Corporate didn't have an official answer, so they had my local store call me. Apparently, they had a "manager-in-training" call me and he told me the wrong information. Two days ago, the lead supervisor called me to apologize and let me know that they would always be happy to take two cents off q's on a BOGOF sale.

I happened to complain that the q's that made me ask the question had expired the day before, and as a CS issue he let me go in that day and use the $1/1 pork tp with the BOGOF pork sale; all the q's rang in fine. Today I was at the same store and got 4 of the BOGOF Quantum Finish detergents; handed over my 4 q's, only two of them came off automatically, the other two scanned at $0. Cashier said it was b/c of BOGOF sale, manager was walking by so I flagged him down and he said they just have to manually type in the amounts; cashier did so and I left happy.

So I guess there is still no definitive answer to whether we can use 2 q's on a BOGOF sale. Since there is no corporate policy, I guess I will be sure to take my q's to this particular store until either corporate makes a ruling or the manager changes his mind (rolling eyes)

Confirming doublers - there was a single sheet newsprint ad folded up small with 3 doublers in the early Seattle Times.

Ack! No doublers in my newspaper today! Not cool. The store hasn't had them out in the racks for months either. Then when I ask at checkouts, they tell me to buy a Sunday paper or check the rack. I know some people are going in there and taking the entire stack of doublers, but come on, we regulars should be allowed a couple, too! (Especially considering that we're there almost daily anyway....)

Are stores no longer put the doublers in the racks,to many people taking them to walmart, they now have them at the checkouts, and u can only get them as they ring up your three items.

For the first time in forever, the doubles ad was actually in my local paper! Excited about having 5 days to use them, cuts down on the stress of going to the store for me.

The GG frozen veggies that are 5/$5 are included in the save $5 WYB 10, making them free without doubles, and a MM with them! The Ragu was ringing up as $1.33/jar at my store today...then took the $5 off at the end, so with doubles it was a MM! I was happy to see that, since my free pasta q's beeped and the cashier wouldn't push them through :( Still great deals, though...dh came with me, and we got 4 12-pks of Pepsi, 4 boxes of pasta, 16 bottles of Ragu, a Starburst and 10 GG frozen veggies for $7.84!

I found a TP on an endcap for $3/3 Axe products x 12/25/10, also b2g1 free TP for Hershey baking chips x 12/31/10.
Smart Balance milk isn't bad at $2.99 - $2/1 10-31-10 RP but I'm not sure the Albertson's here carry it anymore.

Kalmey, I'm in GF. Found the doublers last night. The store had a whole stack of them out. I griped to the newspaper people for not getting coupons/Albies flyers in my subscription, too. Everyone else in my family got 'em!

Dragged dh to Albies for a bit of a marathon trip yesterday :D Lo and behold, my rainchecked brownies were in, which helped send me over the $50 additional purchase required to get my turkey for cheap! When all was said and done, we left with:

20 BC brownie mix
7 Swiss Miss
2 mayo
4 12-pks Coke products
1 turkey baster
1 pkg pop-up turkey timers
18 GG boxed veggies
18.78lb turkey
16 Ragu
1 Toaster Strudel (free q from calling company re: defective product)
4 12-pks Pepsi products
1 Starburst
4 Barilla pasta

Total OOP: $22.92

Found a peelie on frozen turkeys for a free 12-pk Coke product WYB any whole turkey or ham AND a 12-pk Coke product...the 12-pks were $3.25 ea, save $4 WYB 4, so I got the full $3.25 off for the q, even though the promo dropped the price to $2.25. Would have been even sweeter if I would have taken some of the peelies off the boxes that were out on Wednesday, but there were so many that I didn't bother. Stupid me, oh well. I'm still really happy with what I paid--just the turkey would have cost more than my total OOP!

Boy, this weather bites! I'm SOOOO cold! Spent all day watching chick flicks and sorting my coupons, tho'. I've got all my Albies Qs set aside. Should be able to score several carts of freebies tomorrow. (Managed to get a few days off of work this week. Woo hoo!) Will hopefully post pics! LOL

Yesterday was awesome! I didn't get to shop as much as I wanted to this week, but I managed to squirrel away quite a bit of stuff.

Spent $23.85
Saved $70.00
Total $93.85

I bought 6 cans of almonds, 2 packets gravy mix, 2 boxes wheat thins, 1 micro popcorn, Gatorade, 2 cans green beans, 2 boxes dishtabs, 2 small bricks of cheese, 2 frozen broccoli with cheese sauce, 1 frozen yogurt smoothie, 1 bag of meatballs, 1 beef sausage stick, 2 pkgs Smokies, 10-lb bag of potatoes, and a bag of bread cube dressing. They were out of the $5 turkeys.

Since the snow was so bad up here, I didn't get out at ALL until yesterday when I didn't have time to hit the store. So.. I completely missed out on all the doubles. Now I need groceries and am wondering what's good without doublers since I'm assuming they've stopped now.

There is a small Albertsons ad in the early Sunday paper, but it's seriously boring, mostly just wine and beer.

Yeah, I went by Albies yesterday just to check out what signs they had up in the store and it was highly dissapointing. I won't be going back until the new ad comes out.

They sometimes have decent markdowns of holiday stuff like rolls and refrigerated turkeys and such though.
