So far (since we're getting doublers again this coming weekend according to several places I've read...) I see free PAM, free Wesson oil, MM on McCormick brown gravy and more free Sierra Mist. I'll spell out the details when I've got more time and the Wiki :)

Example of a possible scenario:

Buy 8 Betty Crocker Brownies @ 0.99
Buy 2 PAM @ 2.49
12.90
-5.00 instant
-4.00 (1/2 betty crocker brownie mix from SW $60)
-2.00 (1/1 PAM from SW $60)
-3.00 doubles
= -1.10

Another scenario:
Buy 5 betty crocker cake mix @ 0.99
Buy 5 betty crocker frosting @ 1.49
12.40
-5.00 instant
-5.00 ($1 WYB cake and frosting SW $60)
-3.00 doubles
= -0.60

In the first scenario, just mix out the PAM for Wesson. They're the same price with the same MQs.

Question....I looked in the coupon policy thread but didn't see this covered, maybe I just missed it...but can we use a coupon on the free item in a BOGOF sale?

I'm looking at the Hormel pork fillet, BOGOF, save $10.99 on 2. Meaning they are $10.99/ea, BOGOF, so would we be allowed to use 2 $1/1 fresh pork TP? Presumably I can only double one, but still, $10.99 - 2 $1/1 -$1 doubler = $7.99/2, or $3.99/ea is a pretty good deal for these, better than my commissary AC even.

I don't think the updated cash registers will allow it. It won't even let a $1 off coupon go thru for a .99 item.

It will depend on if the items in a BOGO sale ring up both at half price or if they ring up one at full price and one at $0.00

Most BOGO sale items at Albertsons, in my experiance, ring up at both items for half price so you can use a coupon on both items.

Although sometimes, there are items that ring one at full price and one at $0.00 so you cannot use a coupon on the item that is $0.00.

Meat BOGO sales tend to ring full price and $0.00...

I should state however, that where I live is a bit of an anomaly in that we don't have a preferred card. So things may ring up differently where I am vs where you all are. Albertsons has never given me an answer on if you can use two coupons on a BOGO sale or not. In fact they dropped the ball the last time I emailed them asking for an updated policy so that I could update the FAQ sticky. Going to have to chase that again and see if I can get an policy from them.

Dear xxxxxxx,

Thank you for contacting us concerning our coupon policy. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

Manufacturer Coupons: Coupons issued by the manufacturer containing: terms of agreement, face value, expiration date, and verbiage manufacturer coupon. They have handling instructions printed on them.
Most manufacturer coupons have barcodes on them and can be scanned. Any coupons that do not scan or do not have barcodes should be checked for validity of expiration date and purchase requirements.
Albertsons may issue coupons that are manufacturer coupons that contain the words redeemable only at Albertsons.

Store Coupons: Companys discount offers in various forms of media including, but not limited to, print, electronic, newspaper, direct mailers, kiosks and Company websites.
Store coupons may also contain the words redeemable only at Albertsons (or a banner of Albertsons).
Store coupons may state that the discount applies only with Preferred Card/Super Card/Loyalty Card.
When redeeming a store coupon the terms printed on the coupon must be adhered to.

Yes a customer can use a manufacture coupon in conjunction with a store coupon on the same item, if it takes it below the stated retail value we DO NOT give money back. We adjust the coupon.
For example a customer has a $1 off mayo coupon with one of our own $1 off coupons but the jar of mayo is only for $1.98. We would take off the manufacture coupon for a dollar then adjust the store coupon to 98 cents. Thus making it free for the customer but not giving money back.
Catalina Checkout Coupons/Rebates: Catalina is a third party vendor that partners with vendors and Albertsons to offer both manufacturer coupons and Albertsons in-store coupons. The coupons are triggered by purchasing qualified items at checkout which generate a coupon to print on the Catalina printer.

It is Albertsons' policy that these coupons are to be used in a future purchase, not within the purchase in which they are generated.
Catalina coupons can only be given to the customer for whom they were intended (not to any other customer or associate). If a customer does not want their Catalina coupons, it is Albertsons' policy that the cashier destroys them immediately.
Catalina may be contacted at 1-888-826-8766 for any questions about redemption and\or if a coupon fails to print within a transaction.
We will NOT accept competitor Catalina coupons.

Internet Coupons: Coupons printed from an internet website presented for redemption with a qualifying purchase.
Albertsons DOES NOT accept internet coupons containing the following conditions:
Free product offers that do not require a purchase
Redemption value exceeding $5.00
Absence of UPC bar code
Photocopied internet coupons. Most internet sites will print a time and date stamp on the coupons, and limit each ISP address to two coupons total. If multiple coupon have the same time and date stamp this could be an indicator the coupon was photocopied, and should not be accepted. This is not a policy of the store but rather a means to prevent coupon fraud.

No double coupons, triple coupons, or advertisement matches are allowed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer service center at 1-877-932-7948.

Sincerely,

Teresa U

Anyway there may be a monthly Cat for $1 OYNO wyb 2 DiGiorno 200 calorie, DB has $1/1 peelies. So if these are $2.50 also (they are small) and have those very nice peelies they could become free.
ETA: The 200 Calorie DiGiorno are $2.50, didn't see peelies though.

I called Albies customer service to ask about using 2 q's on a BOGOF sale; the rep was next to no help LOL. She assured me that definitely could use a q on the full-price product (gee, thanks) but said she had to open a case and send it to upper levels to find out about using a q on the free product. She gave me a case number and I am supposed to get a call back within 24 hours...since it was 1 am on a Saturday morning, I'm not expecting the 24 hours to be correct, but hopefully before the sale and doubles end, I will have some clarification. Either way, I will ask to have an email sent with the official policy so it can be posted here.

It appears that this will be a YMMV issue. Corporate had my local SM call and talk with me re: the policy; apparently, however, the CS rep I spoke with didn't actually understand my question (as I suspected). He went into assuring me that it was no problem to use a cents-off q in a BOGOF sale, but that he doesn't "think" you can use a BOGOF q with a BOGOF sale (since when?). I then explained that if, say, mayo was on sale BOGOF, and I had 2 q's, each for $0.50/1, could I use them both, since I was getting two mayos? He said no, b/c (as QOTH stated) our registers here in WY ring up BOGOF sales as one @ full price, one @ $0.00, it will only allow us to use 1 q between the two items.

We don't have reward cards here, so our sales ring up immediately (with the exception of WYB 10 sales); those with reward cards will see their BOGOF savings come off at the end, which implies that the registers will allow two q's. Apparently, there IS no corporate policy regarding this, since I was referred to the local SM.

Well anytime I have had a question regarding policy I am always referred to my local store (which doesn't always work out well, especially if you had a problem there) so that doesn't actually surprise me.
The only thing you can do is use two coupons and see what happens. Not fun, but has to be done that way since apparently each store makes it's own policies.
Good luck.

The Progresso Vegetable Classics Hearty Tomato were not tagged as such but are $1. They have been out of a lot of the soups and there was plenty of that one left because it wasn't marked with a sale price tag.
Morton Sea Salts are decent with the $1/1 Morton Sea Salt Product - 11-14-10 RP starting at $1.39, $2.59 and up.
