This is assuming we get doubles :)

10 x 1.29 is 12.90 not 11.29

Is there supposed to be doublers again this week?

I think it's not this week but it's been reported that this month we will have week long doublers. But none in this weeks ad.

Cool, thanks for the heads up.....this month seems to be a strange one for Albies with their doublers. I think they are trying to confuse us all. :giggle2:

So definitely 3 doublers not 4? I liked 4 :)
For doublers I see:
Dole 64oz Orange blends $3 use $1/1 'blinkie' = $1
Starkist Tuna Salad $1.29 use $1/2 blinkies (no Cat now I think) = 29c each wyb 2
Bumble Bee tuna pouches $1 use 55c/1 blinkies = free
Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips $2.50 use $1/1 Food Should Taste Good Chips, Any 5.5 oz or larger bag - 08-22-10 SS = 50c
Yoplait Frozen Smoothies $3 use $1/1 IP or 10-03-10 GM = $1
Green Giant box veges $1 use $1/2 Green Giant Frozen Boxed Vegetables or Green Giant Fresh Steamers Frozen Vegetables, any - Safeway Over $70 in Savings = free
Trident Layers gum $1.09 use $1/2 Trident Layers gum, any - 10-24-10 SS = 9c each wyb 2
NV Nut Clusters $2.50 use $1/1 IP = 50c
Yoplait Greek yogurt $1 use $1/2 IP Betty Crocker = free
Pillsbury Grands $1.25 - various coupons - buy 6 get $3 OYNO should be decent
Duncan Hines Decadent cake mix $2.49 use $1/1 or 75c/1 Duncan Hines Decadent Cake Or Amazing Glazes, Any - 09-26-10 SS = 49c or 99c
Banquet Fruit pies 69c use 35c/1 Banquet Fruit Pie, Any - 10-24-10 SS = free
Pork use $1/1 TP = $2 off
Yakisoba should still be free with inserts
Fun Fizz should still be free with TPs
wyb 10 items promo:
Progresso soup 99c wyb 10 items I have a few $1/2 MC from Safeway demo handouts = free
Sweet Moments $1.99 wyb 10 items use $1/1 blinkies, IPs and inserts = free plus get Pillsbury Cat (worked last time)? Blinkies expire 11/7
Also I saw olive oil yesterday, 17oz was $4.99 (Filippo Berio), there were $1/1 hangtags there, but the next size up was only $1 more ($5.99), so a better deal IMO. I think the price tag said it went another week.

Right now no issues Mentos Gum $1 - $1/1 Mentos Gum, Any 15-Piece (DND 5) - 10-03-10 SS = free

Betty Crocker box potatoes $0.79 WYB 10; I have $1/2 peelies, but even with only 3 doublers, if my math is correct, I will only pay $1.16 for 10 boxes.

0.79*10= $7.90
-5 $1/2 q's= -$5
-3 doublers= -$1.74 (won't truly double, as would be overage)

$1.16 OOP; no sales tax on food items, so ~0.12/each...wish I had more of these peelies!!

ETA: Booklet found at commissary, all manuf q's inside. Titled "Deliciously simple holiday recipes," bottom says "Save $4.75 now". $1/3 any Dole canned fruits, x3/31/11. Will make the $0.75 Dole canned fruits $0.08/ea after doublers :BigHand:

i found .50/2 any betty crocker peelies today at albertsons.......this made them 10 for 5.40 without doubles......may not be the best price, but it was easier for me to get there today instead of doing a bazillion transactions

ill post my scores later:D

i know that minute rice had peelies for .55/2 cans of pineapple.....makes for 2/.95

and i had peelies for ANY cambells ( excluding tomato, chicken noodle and cream of mushroom) for .55/1...made for 0.45 beefy mushroom soup

Possible MM at Albies?

So, I went to SW today and got a bunch of those $60 booklets. In them, there is a MQ for $1/1 Sierra Mist or Sierra Mist Cranberry. Deal would look like this:

10 Sierra Mist or Sierra Mist Cranberry @ $1.29
12.90
-5.00 instant
-10.00 MQ
= <2.10>

Also wanted to add that the Smokey Point SW has TONS and TONS of those $60 all over the place.

Pepsi 2L bottles: Buy 10 @ 1.29
12.90
<5.00> instant discount
<2.58 from hang tag buy 4 pepsi 2L get 5th free>
Total OOP: $5.32 for 10 2 L of pepsi products

If anyone can find the $60 in Savings Thanksgiving Books at Safeway, I think this would work...

10 Bottles of Sierra Mist: $12.90
- 10 $1/1 MQ
- 3 Doubles
- 5.00 Instant
= $5.10 MM

The reason I *think* this doesn't violate the coupon policy is because the single bottle price is $1.29 and therefore the coupon doesn't exceed the value of the item. I guess it could be argued that the doublers should only double to $.29 because they also attach to a single item:

10 Bottles of Sierra Mist: $12.90
- 10 $1/1 MQ
- 3 Doubles @ $.29/ea = $.87
- 5.00 Instant
= $2.97 MM

This would all by very YMMV!

Here is what I'm thinking if they still have some in stock when I make it there Monday:

8 GG can Veggies 8*.89=7.12
2 Cans Pinapple 2*1.25=2.50
Total: 9.62
-$5 Off
=4.62
Use 2 $1/4 GG Can's from Safeway Booket
1 .55/2 Pinapple
= 2.07
-1.67 TVQ
OOP= .40 or free if they count the before $5 off prices for the doublers.

Can anyone tell me if you can do 2 of the Pillsbury CATs in one transaction? For example, if I wanted to buy 10 Sweet Moments and use 10 $1/1 blinkies, would I then get a CAT for $3 and another for $1?

If so, the math would work out to:

$1.99*10= $19.9
-10 $1/1= -$10
-3 doubles= -$3

Total OOP $6.90, get back $4 in CATs, so $2.90/10, or $0.29/ea.

Not sure if both will print, though...I suppose if it doesn't, it's only $1 difference, but it's potentially MY dollar, KWIM?

My inserts had $1/4 Progresso soups...BOO! We never get the Green Giant canned q's, and always get the 0.25/1 Charmin. I even started subscribing to the Denver paper in hopes of getting better q's, and while they are better, still not what a lot of places get :hectic:

I meant listed in the Cat ad:
Buy Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescents, Cookies, Sweet Rolls, Grands! Biscuts, Grands! Cinnamon Rolls, Pie Crusts, Dinner Rolls, Loaves, Breadsticks or Pizza Crust and save up to $3.00 on a future order with coupon.
So we will need a small furry creature to try it, or confirmation from other sources.

LOL I guess I may be the rabbit then :) A friend in Texas got the CAT back with Sweet Moments at Randall's; since CATs are generally identical as they make their way through the chains, I just assumed they were included. Hopefully I can get my hands on the Safeway booklets tomorrow, as the low OOP cost without the CAT will still make it worth it for me...my sweet tooth gets the better of me lately :preggo7:

Sounds likely to work.
Some reruns from last week:
Darigold singles still $1
YoBaby etc still reg price $2.69 and Bush Grillin beans still same price as last week.
Blue Diamond jars are still $3.49
One interesting possibility is the CPK pizza singles at $2.99, use the $1/1 California Pizza Kitchen Product, Any - 09-26-10 SS to get them for 99c, buy 3 and you might get the $2 OYNO Cat (http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums/albertsons-catalina-deals/369704-california-pizza-kitchen-get-up-3-00-oyno-11-01-10-11-28-10-a.html) so 3 for 97c after Cat. I think these Cats normally work on the singles too.
Watch the Starkist Tuna salad, there are 2 kinds, the Albacore is not $1.29. They look almost the same and they are right next to each other.

No doublers in Cheyenne, WY...went into the store and was told by SM that we will have doublers next week, that they already have them in hand, but nothing for this week.

Not sure what the shake-up is all about, but I surely do wish they were this week :( Still got my veggies and potato boxes for pretty cheap, just knowing they could have been free or had overage makes me a little bitter LOL.

I bought three McCormick vanilla (smallest size) for $3.34 each =10.82

$10.82 - 3 mc for $1.50 off in the Safeway Thanksgiving book=5.52

At check-out it spitted out a cat for 3.00 off on my next order from McCormick so I technically got it for $2.52.

The cat is good fom 11/5-11/28
$1.50 off when you buy 2 or
$3.00 off when you buy 3
