Sorry if this has been asked, I looked but didn't see it.
I have a question about Bi Lo's meal deals. I know if the deal says "buy Bob's frozen entree and get Jane's frozen dessert and Earl's ice cream free" and i have a coupon for Bob's frozen entree I can use it. But what if I also have a coupon for Jane's frozen dessert. The recipet says "price you pay - free" So I wasn't sure if I could use a coupon on it too or not.
I hope this makes sense. Thanks

Yes it makes sense.=) If you have a coupon for the Bob's frozen dinner yes you can use it. If you have a coupon as well for Jane's frozen dessert , it depends. If you scan your bonus card AFTER you scan all your coupons ( including Janes frozen dessert) yes you will get credit for that coupon. If your bonus card gets scanned first then no you can not use the Jane coupon because it will see the item as free. I hope that makes sense! If you need me to clarify more send me a message.

Why would it matter though if you are able to use Jane's coupon for say $1 before bonus card because once it is scanned it would be free? It seems it would be wasting a coupon, but I am not sure.

It is getting the money taken off the total order-that is why she wants to sue the coupon on the free item-it makes the total cost go down. For most of us it is about total money out of pocket. I know it is for me.

Oh okay, that makes sense. I wasn't sure if it would take it off the total order or if the coupon only relates to the price of the item. That let's me know to have them scan my card last. They always seem to want to scan the card at the beginning though so now I have to think of a polite way of letting them know I want to wait until the end. :wink7:

I usually say I am looking for my card and try to hold them off-but there are some cashiers out there that will wait (I have 2 crabby ones at my store)....Also you can try Uscan if you have it.

At my store you can't scan coupons at the U Scan. You have to hand them to the cashier at the end and then they scan them. And that U scan cashier is always the most ticked off in the store for some reason.

I have one store just like that and the other store I can scan them...it is weird how they have each store programmed differently.

I wonder what they would say if I kindly asked them to scan my coupons first before my card. :whistle67: I may try it just to see if they mind. The people at my Bilo have been really nice so maybe it would work.
