So has anyone considered that if the Mars Candy Bars are $0.50 or less, then they are FREE with the BOGO coupon? At Ray's Apple Market, which is the other store here in town that doubles coupons the same way Dillons does, Mars Candy Bars were on sale for $0.33. So I bought 12, with 6 BOGO coupons. As she entered in the $0.33 for each coupon it doubled!

Maybe ya'll are smarter than I and had already figured this one out...

Coupons for frees don't generally double here...it comes up "free item" on the receipt.

That's what I figured it would do too. And maybe at Dillons that's what it will do. It didn't scan right at the other store, so she entered it in manually, which may be why it doubled.

This happened for me with the BOGO coupons for eggs this week. They enterered .78 and it multiplied up to $1 :giggle2:

Another funny one: my $0.75 OYNO Dole cat also doubled today. The cashier actually paid me $0.02 for buying the newspaper! The KC Star rings up as $1.84 so I used a $1 cat and a $0.75 cat figuring I'd pay a quarter or less. Nope, the $0.75 cat doubled, and because the $0.25 doubling is not taxed, my total was -$0.02.
