Hey guys, I am trying to pack up my family today for a mini trip up to Billings and I really don't have time this week to get the sale ad typed up this week.

So the best I can do this week is to post the pictures of the sale ad and just ask folks to post their good deal finds.

Life happens before coupons sometimes I hope you understand.

If anyone does the icecream deal with the 140ct Dibbs there might be a bonus $1 OYNO wyb 3 of those.
The icecream deal could be good if anyone has a bunch of the Cat Qs for the cups. I can only find 1 for Albertsons (but I have a bunch for FM). Anyone know what triggers these?
OFF is 25% off there may be a couple of monthly Cats on these (from Giant Eagle web site):
$1.50 OYNO wyb 1 Off area product
$2 OYNO wyb 2 Smooth & Dry or Deep Wood Personal insect repellant products
Possible good deals if there are doublers:
BB tuna pouches $1 use 55c/1 blinkies (if they double these?)
Wacky Mac 99c 50c/1 or $1/2 05-16-10 SS
Vlasic relish $1.29 IPs and hangtags
French's mustard $1.49
Jack Links Jerky $3.99 ($1/1 AY June)
Oxiclean 25% off
DB seems to be having issues ATM.

Well I think that the two things that I am going for are:

Viva Paper towels $2.00
-.85 insert coupon
-doubler
= .30 a piece (pretty good in my book!)

Skinny Cow Ice Cream
B3 get 4.00 oyno
so
$12.00
- 3 1.00 on 1 coupons that I traded for
-3 1.00 doublers
= 6.00 get back 4.00 back
2.00 total for 3 pkgs.

Best Foods Mayo is $1.99-$1/1 found in the Oregonian a few weeks ago = .99 or free with doublers!

Smores deal: Save $2 instantly wyb one Honey Maid Graham Cracker ($2.49), one Hershy's Chocolate Bar 6-pack ($3) and Jet Puffed Marshmallows ($1). Use the $1/1 tearpad and doubles = $2.49 for all.

Dibs 22.7 oz bag are $4 ea, get $4 oyno wyb $12. There are $1/1 in the 05-02-10 SS and an IP, so with doubles you could spend $6 and get back $4, and possibly a $1 if iwik is correct.

Oh yeah and I have heard reports of doublers this weekend!

That would be totally ROCKIN'! There are 2 good deals on Paper Towels, the Viva as posted earlier, and the Bounty

Bounty Paper Towels:

$1.25 x 6 = $7.50
- 3) $1/2 Bounty Q's = $3.00
- 3) Doublers = $3.00
$1.50 for 6 rolls of Bounty Extra Soft! (.25/each)

Different areas get different coupon values unfortunately :rolleyes24:

The Viva coupons were a different value than what we had here in Oregon so I ordered some on Ebay. Unfortunately you probably won't get them in time if you ordered them tonight.

At the Keizer OR Albie's today, they had the 50 ft. Reynolds Recycled Aluminum packages marked down to $2.50 on clearance, and there were $1 off ANY Reynolds (excluding 20, 25 & 30 ft.) tearpads hanging right underneath them. That's the cheapest I've seen decent foil, not to mention recycled, for quite a while.

Also, I confirmed today that if you get 3 of the 140 ct. Dibs ice cream, you get a $4 OYNO and a $1 OYNO. I ended up at net $4 for 3 packages today ($12 - $5 OYNO - $3 Manu coups = $4). With doublers, that would be a CRAZY deal. My kids are gonna love me. :)

Looks like the insert q for 1.00 on 1 bagel bites with doublers will result in free bagel bites

and if you need some olives... the Lindsay olives reclosable IP 1.00 on 1 that was up awhile ago, if you printed it will also get you free olives.

And we all know that free is a very good price!

Did anyone get doublers in the Spokesman? I didn't get any in my paper. There was a single page Albertsons ad, but no doubles.

Was just gonna post the bestfoods. Also, solo products are 2/$5, so $.50 each after q and doubles ($1/1 came in insert a few weeks ago).

Lean Cuisine Panini, pizza, etc. are $1.88, so free with $1/1 IP on LC site and doubles. Treetop juice 3pk is 10/10 again, so free with $1/2 and doubler. Athena feta cheese is $2.99, and $1 blinkie off WYB it and salad, so get $1 salad and get cheese and salad for $1.99. These have long expiration dates (dec. 2010) so great stock up price if you like feta.

I was told they couldn't give any overage, were not allowed to adjust, so no-go on the Best Foods mayo.
Oh well lots of other stuff, Yakisoba, Sweet Baby Rays.

Chinet is also $2.50 and had $1/1 peelies.
Uncle Ben's Ready Rice pouches are $1.69 and there are $1/1 05-16-10 RP (looks like some areas got other values).
Not sure if the $1 David's seeds are the right size for the coupon but there was a $1/2 AY June. There is also a rebate for $20 off sporting goods at Walmart when you buy 20 bags (Google it) you need to save the empty bags.
Ortega chilies are $1 there was a $1/2 this weekend and a 75c/2 04-18-10 SS and a $1/2 AY May.
Some flavors of Del Monte Fruit Chillers are clearance at $2.29 and there are $1/1 IPs and 04-18-10 RP.

When you use the doublers they can just put the double coupon value in at $0.99

That is what my store does. No overage but the doubler can be adjusted easy enough since they have to write the number on the computer and enter it in by hand.

No not really. I decided to hit Smiths for doubles instead this morning (lots of good stuff there and unlimited every coupon under a dollar is worth a dollar). I ran to Albertsons this evening to get some salad mix for dinner and while there found peelies for $1.00/1 Mission tortillas which were $2.00 each so I picked up three packages of those free after doubles. So I just got my salad mix and three tortillas. It was hot (96 degrees) and I was too tired to make a bunch of trips through the check out.

Oh well there will be more deals next time around. I may go back tomarrow and get some more tortillas we can use those for easy summer meals like burritos and wraps. Plus they freeze OK.

I will definitely have to keep an eye out for those peelies!!:BigHand:

Can you send some of that to Winterton (top, left corner, just below Canada) we're still waiting for spring here...
Jack Links Jerky $3.99 ($1/1 AY June) didn't work, coupon specifies a size that Albertson's doesn't even have.
Ortega chilies didn't work, it's the Jalapenos that are $1, still could use the 75c/2 one though.
Different Albertson's let me double the mayo peelies fine, adjusted it to no overage.
I might try the OFF Clip-on refills and see if they give the Cat, and use the $1/1 last weekend's SS. They are $3.XX.

We went from winter to hail to summer! LOL It's usually not that hot here in the summer....I am just very thankful for central air in our new home. We just had window units in our old home that did the job but cranked up our electricity bill.

I just read about the ice cream cat...ok I have to make another run tomarow for cheap ice cream. No heat excuses. If it is hot I have a reason to eat ice cream:biggrin:

Dibbs deal worked for me too, 3 big bags for $1 is tough to pass up, even on cloudy days.
Any good Dairy Cat scenarios this week, besides LOL? Probably the last chance with doubles, Cat ends 7/1. Good thing icecream isn't a 'Dairy' product, nice to roll the Dairy Cats into icecream Cats.

What flavors did you buy?

Management said that NOT getting the $4 Catalina is the error. The manufacturer chose to make this promo better than what is advertised in the paper. All cashiers at my store knew about this promo and said that certain flavors were evidently not programmed right. Plain vanilla didn't work for me but I just bought spumoni and chocolate peanut butter and the cats printed.

Go try again.

The CAT takes a long, long time to print so wait for it.

What is Dibs ice cream like anyway? I have coupons but have never bought it.

I got back a little while ago and got 12 of the large Dibs and 12 weber seasonings. Used 10 of the $1.00/1 Dibs 2 $0.50/1 Dibs and 6 $1.00/2 Weber Seasonings. The cashier was great about letting me do back to back transactions with the doublers (I asked) however with orders that are totaled out at $0.00 after coupons and doublers the manager needs to key it in so I choose to throw in a clearanced pack of gum so my total was not zero. I was also out of sugar so bought a 20 lb bag of that too so my OOP was around $30.

melodyjg
06-29-2010, 08:39:37 PM
I really wish I had the guts to do back to back transactions but I just cannot seem to do it!! LOL

I guess it has something to do with things that happen like tonight....I had about 10 items and coupons of course...She rang up the items and started on the coupons...couple of them were frees and it took a minute for her to get the prices for them. The guy behind me just got absolutely crappy with me and the cashier about coupons and the fact that people use them. Thing was this was a man that you could look at and know that he could use the extra money that using coupons could get him.

So I just do one.....and if I want to do another one I go out to the car and turn around and go back in :rolleyes24:

queenofthehivemomof5
06-29-2010, 09:54:04 PM
You should just ask the cashier if it is OK and go for it if they say yes. I always ask before doing back to backs.

On your frees have you tried writting in the price of the items for them as you shop and then when you check out put your frees on the belt last. This saves me a whole lot of time and the cashiers seem to like that I have done the work for them. Because the free stuff was rang up last if they do need to look up the price they can scroll up on the register screen and look up the prices pretty fast.

I am always aware of other customers when I shop. My policy is to let 3 people with small orders in front of me and then it is my turn. And if I am going to take a while I let those behind me know that I have coupons and it is going to take a while. Some huff and puff and go to another register but many times I get folks who don't mind and by the end are cheering me along as the totals go down!

But...you do what you gotta do. I am always nice, and I try really hard to build a good relationship with the cashiers and managers. We only have one of anything here (one Albertsons, one Smiths, one Walmart, one Walgreens etc) so it does not pay to burn my bridges....

Kind of late, but Tornadoes were $2 again/still (so free with doubles and $1/1 insert), and I checked the end date and looked like they would be that price another week. I ran out of coupons from last time but found a couple more in the FM coupon exchange.

OK. The freezer is full. I did the Dibs deal separately, and then a second transaction with other groceries, Lil Drumsticks and some free ice cream cups that I had catalinas for. Got $9 in cats back. The kids still haven't found all of the ice cream yet. The cashier was being funny. He loved all of my coupons and bragged about all my savings to the other customers. One gal made a comment about waiting in line, but all of the self checkouts and one other lane had nobody waiting. I said, "Sorry, but I've got three teenage boys to feed." I was shopping late when the store was quiet, too. At least this trip wasn't all condiments. LOL I spent $32 including the pizzas I bought for dinner, as well as tortillas, two brands of tea, popcorn, almonds, noodles, creamer, lunch meat and the Smores deal. Saved $65.47. Considering ordering pizza to be delivered costs about $30, I feel good about this shopping trip.

Good shopping trip Maddie! I know what you are talking about on the condiments. My teen daughter always tells me "we have nothing to eat, it's all condiments!" (we do get a lot of those free/cheap) but she really just means we don't have anything that she WANTS to eat.

Although she is excited about the Dibs I got last night...ice cream tater tots...yep. They are pretty good although I wish they were covered in dark chocolate....
