Has anyone ever had success getting their money back on training? I have done the beginner class with both of my dogs and am now in the intermediate with my female. This new trainer is terrible and tries to scare the dogs into doing what she wants (this doesn't work with my dog who was terribly abused before I adopted her - she shuts right down).

Not to mention that she spends half or more of the class telling stories, gossiping, and letting dogs play together IF she's there. She told us to bring our dogs to the back of the store and she'd be right there. 20 minutes later, she comes back and says sorry, that other dog came to my beginner class late so I was showing his owners something. So I'm paying for them showing up to their class late?

I'm just totally unhappy with her. I was after the first class but figured I'd give it another chance just in case it was an off day. The second time was worse than the first. Do I have any leg to stand on requesting a refund? Has anyone been successful doing so in the past? Who is it up to, the trainer or store manager? I don't feel like either of us (me or my dog) can accomplish much in this class (there's a huge german shepherd that doesn't stop barking or yapping so that I can even hear the trainer when she's there).
