my publix had an empty machine..so they have been out a while here...but if you had access to military feb. maxi saver there were 1/1 (conflicting ideas on the terminology of this coupon). course the comm has them at 1.25 ea for now any way..

I've seen the shredded/chunk as 2/2 at Publix, and 1/2 at Sweetbay. I also found the 1/1 deli deluxe at Publix.. I'm guessing those aren't part of this sale, are they?

My Publix had $1/2 (exp 3/31) about 2 weeks ago, I picked several up and planned to use them this past week on the Kraft Chunk sale, but when we got there my husband noticed the machine was now the $2/2 (exp 4/11) so of course we used those instead!

I did this yesterday....also using a Target $1/1 IP (now gone from Target's site I think). That of course only works if your store accepts Target coupons as competitor coupons. That made for a small money maker.

I personally prefer to see deals like these that are aligned to a weekly sale in the weekly sale thread. If every deal from weekly thread had it's own thread, it makes it harder (for me) to keep track of it. That's just my opinion....I'm sure others may prefer a separate thread for each deal.

I have frozen a lot of kraft shredded cheese (and blocks as well) and the freeze great! A little crumbly when thawing, but that doesn't affect the taste or anything. I would also say it's a little bit dryer than fresh. It's not bad though!

Technically, the $2/2 Q says specifically shredded cheese - i.e. should not be eligible for the chunks. I still have some $1/2 blinkies for the chunks but cleaned up on shredded (8 pkgs) today with the new $2/2 blinkies (which thankfully had not been cleaned out yet)

I freeze all the cheeses. Mozzarella freezes great! I think right now, I have probably 20 bags of cheese in my freezer! Because it's shredded already, I can keep the bags in the freezer and only take out what I need and add to a recipe - usually don't even have to thaw!

I say stock up! If I wasn't unemployed and had an extra twenty bucks, I'd go get more cheese!

Too True!!! I was at Winn-Dixie this weekend doing the meal deal. There was a $2/2 Digiorno coupon stuck to the freezer case and people were just walking right past it getting their pizzas. I wanted to scream "You can save $2 people!!" :hysterical:
