Stop & Shop. buy 2 kraft shredded cheese save $2 through 3/18

There were signs on all the Kraft 8oz bags of shredded cheese, buy 2 save $2. It did not say instant or oynso. Deal started 2/26, good through 3/18
If anyone else has done this and knows if its instant or OYNSO, please post :smile:

Kraft shredded cheese is $2.29 at my store. x 2 = $4.58. Use a $1/2 blinkie coupon = $3.58 plus the $2 off whether instant or an oynso cat would make it $1.58 for 2 cheeses! :BigHand: I had a blinkie with me so I grabbed 2 cheeses to do the deal.

I did not get a catalina so I figured it was instant. Checked my receipt better when I got home, it didnt come off.
Darn S&S and their deals not attaching when you use a coupon.

I plan to go in and do this deal again w/o coupon and get my $1 back @ CS after my transaction! But even without coupon $1.29 each is not a bad price for shredded cheese! If you do not mind hitting CS to get your $1 back .79 each is even better.

I believe the $2 was meant to come off the current order.
Unfortunately, ALL these off-your-current-order deals (at S&S)don't work as soon as one uses a coupon on that item.

I personally have abandoned all these stop&shop deals for shaws.( the same cheese will be much cheaper at shaws on friday).

Some people who still choose to do these deals usually ring them up without the corresponding manufacturer's coupons and then bring the coupons to the service desk. what a pain.
if you total your sale before putting in coupons you will see your total go UP as you scan coupons. Point the effect out to the cashier.Maybe they can see it and override it for you.
Either way, Not worth the aggravation to me.

I typically don't have an issue with Buy 2 get $2 off, but I haven't tried this one yet. I do have issues with Buy $15 get $2 off, which makes sense to me. If I use coupons, I haven't spent $15, even though there is no indication that the $15 has to be after coupons. So I just go in prepared to use my coupons AND get the $2 off by watching that register like a hawk. I'm getting my $2!:hysterical:
