I found Cottonelle Kids Wipes on clearance for $1.49. I was able to use the .50/1 Cottonelle Qs and since my store triples they were FREE! :)

Hello,

Would anyone happen to know if this is the case for every CT A&P or only for certain ones in the state? I am about a 15 mile drive into the Greenwich/Cos Cob/Stamford area. I might just be willing to 'cross the border' (I'm from NY, :wavehi:) to scoop up some deals, every now and then, if triples are involved!

Thinking about it, Greenwich is one of the richest, most ritzy towns in our entire country, so I don't know how coupon-friendly they'd be. (I just had a mental image of someone pulling a $.25 Charmin accessory (coupon) out of her $2000 Chanel purse before paying, but I digress...:wink7:). Actually, if I wore Chanel, I'd still use coupons! However, I'd probably leave the 25-cent Charmin's at home!:hysterical:

Does it triple the $1 qs? Or only Q's up to 99?

The Greenwich A&P is extremely coupon unfriendly -they hate internet coupons even though the flyer says they are accepted - and EVERY time I tried to use them, they always ask, "Is this a copy?" I have to explain that I am using a B&W printer and not a color one and No, this is not a copy. UGH!!! Coupons are doubled up to 99 cents and 3 coupons (99 cents or less) are tripled per transaction. They do have a self checkout but it doesn't really help. Many times they are out of the sale priced items. I always have to check my receipt - there always seems to be errors!

I much rather prefer the A&P in Stamford. I never have any trouble with my coupons there. But since they are a smaller store, they too don't always have sale items in stock. It is best to go right when the sale begins.

OMG, that's horrible! It's like that in one of the A&Ps in nearby Scarsdale, NY (the 'Greenwich' of NY).

If they were a little smarter, they'd use the time they spend with us taking notes on what we do, instead of dreaming up ways to turn us away! They'd have less stress during the workday, and more cash in their pockets at the end of the workweek! I mean, seriously! :rolleyes24: You know what? I think I might actually say this to the next associate I get into that kind of 'confrontation' with! Not necessarily because I think that it'll get me anywhere, but simply to witness their reaction! :hysterical:
