Hoping someone can answer a question for me regarding this coupon...
It says "Manufacturer's Coupon" below that it says redeemable only at Petsmart.
The small print tells the "retailer" how to submit the coupon.
We can use "target" manufacturer's coupons at other stores. We can use a MQ that says "redeemable at ______" at other stores.
Why can't this coupon be used at any store?
Thanks and reps to anyone who can shed some light on this.
Has anyone used it at another store?
:thanks7:

Well, the coupon really spells it out... redeemable only at Petsmart. If Purina wanted it accepted at other stores then they would not have printed redeemable at Petsmart only.
That said, if and I say IF you have a store that honors competitors coupons then they are the ones taking the loss b/c they will have to assume or know that they will not get reimbursed for the coupon.
I am going to put this out there too.... If you try to use at a different store other than Petsmart and not at a store that accepts competitors coupons, that would be considered misusing the coupon.

So when a store accepts a Manufacturer's Coupon with a competitor's name on it, they don't get reimbursed?
I certainly don't want to do anything wrong. I just want to understand this. I know in the past I've used Manufacturer's coupons that came from a K-Mart book and had their logo on it. No beeps, no issues - because they said it was a MQ.
Thanks Couponsmakesense!

Purina Pro Plan is a premium dogfood and is usually only carried by pet stores, veterinarians and some of the high end Feed and Seed stores. I've never seen it in a regular grocery store or such, so not much changes or opportunity to use it elsewhere - even if you could talk them into accepting the coupon at a different store. And my guess is - the store would not be reembursed for the food if they do accept it.
