I dont know if everyone got this but I have the following coupons for Purina Pro Plan (these are petsmart coupons, so you can't use them anywhere else)

-FREE (1) 3.5 - 6lb bag of Purina Pro Plan brand Dog or cat food, any variety (up to $13.99) exp 2/14/10

I feed my pets premium foods, but they're so expensive that I like to mix in a little lower grade food so this is great for mixing for me! :BigHand:

Great idea about mixing. My husband went and got 5 bags today and we are going to go find more papers to get some more.

luckily the chicago tribune got those...and i was able to get 4 papers. going this afternoon to petsmart!

oh, i am a mixer too...i like to mix some fancy with some okay stuff...petsmart has the eukanuba wild for $7.99...i found some more $5/1 coupons in a few of the bags i have left from last years sale...going to grab those too while i am there!

The coupon doesn't state a limit. We bought 9 bags with no problem.

We did not get any kind of coupon on this item in our area. :sad: And I went 15 miles on icy snowy roads to get the papers and nothing!! :shrug7:

6lb bag is $12.99 normally...yesterday it was on sale for $11.99 . today was the last day for that sale...the new ad should be coming out tomorrow....i did see a smaller bag of puppy food for $9.99

We got it in the LA Times. Is anyone finding the 6oz pouches? I'm finding the bigger bags for both cats and dogs, but none of the small pouches for the second coupon.

The pouches were hanging on those little plastic things near the bags of dog and cat food but not on the shelves. I don't know how to describe it exactly but it is easy to overlook them.

I picked up 19 of these in the LA times. Enough for up to 114 lbs of food! Pretty sure it'll be gone within the next 3-4 months, though. lol. I'm still excited it's saving us from buying a $35 30-lb bag of food every 2.5ish weeks... now if we mix right we can probably stretch it to 3.5-4 weeks.

The Petsmarts in my area don't carry the pouch. They don't have any and don't expect to get any of them.

I'm very seriously considering emailing corporate headquarters. Why in the world would they put a coupon in our inserts and then not carry the product?

We had the $5.00 off coupons good on the 3 and 6 lb. bags. Went to Petsmart today to use them, and they didn't have any 6 lb. bags, they were all 7 lb. bags, and they wouldn't let me use the coupon on that size.

Makes you wonder. How can they put out a coupon for a size they don't even carry?

I wanted the larger bag, as it would have been a better deal as it was $15.99 regular price and $5.00 off that would have made it the same price as the little bag, $10.99.

The man said "No".

On the other hand, I lucked into a big bag of Royal Canin Cat food marked down to half price, $12.99, on clearance. I can do the mixing of this good stuff with the Friskies dry.

Oh, and I looked for the little 6 oz. pouches, but didn't find them.

I live in Hickory, NC, no pouches here. But, I am going back today to check on the hanging j-pegs that someone suggested. Maybe I missed them. Sucks, I bought 30 Q's off of ebay. $3 off a larger bag is not such a good deal.

I found some, finally on white clip strips. Dry food in the pouches, I assumed it would be wet. Here's the rub, they used to be 6 ounce packages, but now the new ones coming in are 9 ounces. The manager wasn't going to let me use the Q's! I argued, he let me use them, just this one time though. GRRR! If you want to sell those, I will pay you for them and use them at another Petsmart store. Thanks

Did you actually find a place to use them in Vta Cty? We are in the same area, btw. I am scared to drag my two cranky youngsters out if we're not going to find any. I can use both cat and/or dog food :smile: I can't see where they even carry the 3.5lb bags, of anything - is that right?

the cat food is 3.5lb bags and the dog food is 6 lb bags. I have found it in the Annapolis, Md and Waldorf , md locations-both were very friendly and allowed me to use the 6oz coupons on the 9 oz bags

I went today and bought 24 bags (6lb) in 2 transactions - I did 8 in one to 'test the waters'. There were no hassles, everyone was smiling - I was like cool! Went to the car, dropped them off and grabbed the other 16 Qs. Went back, quickly asked the cashier if it'd be a problem and she said not at all. Asked if I needed a receipt or not because if not I could just leave since it would take her a minute to get all the Q's in the register. I told her I'd stay just to be sure all worked out. So 24 bags (144lbs) for $0.00 OOP! YAY!

Wow! I had to pay $12 OOP for my 16 bags. I know it doesn't sound like much, but $0 is sooo much better! lol

I was able to use the coupon at Petco because they take competitor coupons. They were very awesome at the store!

I went to Petsmart today because my coupons were expiring. Of course they didn't have the free pouches anywhere. I got mad andthere was no way I was going to leave without giving them some crap for having a coupon out and not having the product available. Well I grabbed an employee and showed him only one of my coupons. He told me that he just got them in and he happily went in the back to retrieve them. Nice how they just got them in to put them out tomorrow when the coupon is no good. He came out with one pack and his face dropped when I asked him for eight more. I don't get it, they get reimbursed fully plus about 8 cents from the manufacturer. I'm glad I played like I only wanted to try one bag because I bet he wouldn't have had any more if he knew I was about to get away with nine bags for 63 cents.
