On a serious note though... I thought Kroger & Fred Meyer ran similar deals?

I would think they would, but our buns are 10/10, at least in the southern region. We do have the marie's 5/10, but we get free breyers with that. It's probably how there's slight differences in the kroger regions, same thing with this and smiths and dillons and what not.

Grrrr.... bought some hot dog & hamburger buns during lunch today and I just noticed that only ONE of them rang up at the .29¢ price. My receipt also says LIMIT OF REDUCED ITEMS EXCEEDED. So I took another look at the ad and it does say in really small print - Limit 1 of each. So now it looks like I'm going to be returning the others after work. :(
