Before I make a fool of myself in the store or breaking any rules, I would like to ask if anyone know how many transactions can I do per day? I want to take advantage of the Pillsbury cats promo and roll the cats at the same time. I have enough coupons for 4 transactions and yet I will still be under the 20 coupons (that will double) quota..
Please advice...
Thanks all in advance!!
Cheers..

It used to be 5, but then I was told it was 3...so I am not a lot of help, but I'll bump this up for you.

Thanks.... thinking of the 4 transactions, I will probably end up with 24 cans of biscuits, rolls etc..... What am I going to do with all of them?!!! LOL...
Cheers...

I can't remember exactly but back when the Mac and cheese was free without coupons I did the max and it was either 6 or 8 transactions.

Sounds like you'll be looking for some recipes. I got thinking...once before I knew there was limit I was doing separate transactions for rebates and when I reached my limit and she scanned my card she said I had used it the max times...so once you scanned your card you would know before you checked out. Also, if all the coupons are the same you may run into trouble since they only take two like printables or three like other coupons.

Is there a limit on how many $1 coupons you can use in a transaction?

No as long as it is not super doubles.

No as long as it is not super doubles.
My store limits all qs to 3...I'll have to get and email from corporate or something if I want to use more I guess.

I read her questions as $1 coupons, not being LIKE coupons... BUT no where does it state they will only accept 3 like coupons, it says they will only double 3 like items. which some read as coupon, but either way, they should still accept as many $1+ as you want to use as long as they are not doubling them. And ADDITIONALLY it says
We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value
How many times have you been told that they can't ACCEPT the additional ones? I know I have heard it.
Do these stores that make up thier own rules not have the corporate rules posted (it is on green paper)? I have always seen them posted in my stores.

I was thinking about getting some of the GG steamers.
I have 10 or so .40/1 coupons, and a buttload of $1/2 coupons.
I don't normally shop there, and get funcused by the rules.

I bought 9 of the steamers the other day. I got 3 of 3 different flavors. I also bought other things too with coupons. I try and mix up my coupons just because it is easier. I have had a problem with 4 identical coupons scanning in a row-the 4th one beeps. I have found if I mix them up it doesn't happen. Plus it also doesn't make them bring attention to the fact I am using multiple like coupons which sometimes they get confused and think like coupons not like items.
However -
With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.
I know my $1/2 are IPs.

I hope they have some steamers left at my store. I went the other day and all they had left was the ones with rice.

Yeah.... I will be using the same coupons for each transaction. I have 9 insert coupons that I could use but I am separating them into 3 transactions, so 3 coupons each. And one last transaction, I will use (2) $1/2 Biscuits and (2) $0.50/1 Crescent rolls....total 4 transactions and of course with some other coupons too.
I do need recipes... but do they freeze well? Should I bake and freeze? I don't want the cans to explode in the freezer or something..
Cheers..

I thought you had to buy 15?

Yes, have to buy 15. I will buy 6 GG Steamers, 6 Biscuits and 3 OEP Seasoning... that will be my 2nd transaction. I hope the Cats works so my 1st transaction with just the biscuits will produce a $4 OYNO that I can use for my second transaction and roll the cats at the same time.
Cheers...

Freezing - they don't explode but I haven't had good luck with baking them after frozen. They are kind of "flat". Not as good as when fresh.

Flat? Ughh.... not good! Did you thaw it before baking? I have read that to achieve a better result, you have to thaw it before baking and it will rise like normal.

You might try using the Pillsbury biscuits for cobblers or dumplings.

I have frozen mine before, they don't rise as high. And yup, I thawed them. You can really tell when you bake 2 cans one that was previously frozen and one that wasn't. And it isn't that they don't rise at all, they just don't rise as high. I have also never had a can explode in my freezer before. I have frozen probably 50 cans total over the past couple of years.

i took mine out of the can and froze them on a cookie sheet, individually, then packed them in ziploc (or hefty) bags and put them in the freezer. I agree that they don't rise as high as the others, and tend to dry out if you're not careful. I would suggest having a slightly cooler oven than the directions call for. that helps some. just a warning, don't expect perfect biscuits from frozens.
