A&P ~ internet printables and competitor's coupons

:sad: The checker at my A&P (northern NJ) told me yesterday that they were just told that A&P will no longer be accepting internet printable coupons or competitor's coupons, effective 1/31/10.

Bummer if that's true! They just started accepting internet printables here, too.

You should make sure to check that info with other employees at that store, especially the customer service people or the managers.

Not sure if that applies to just this store or everywhere.

I hope it's not the entire A&P/Waldbaums/Superfresh chain.

The checker at Pathmark told me they weren't accepting competitor's coupons anymore. Pathmark is owned by the same company. However, she gladly took my IPs.

I used some yesterday @ A&P Superfoodmart with no problems/comments...

My Dh was at Superfresh today and used a competitors MFG catalini and was informed that as of the last day of January Superfresh would not be accepting them anymore!!!
Which JIMHO;) is ludicrious because they still get the $$$ from the Manufacturer!
but again just in my lowly humble opinion...:)

I just got back from A&P in Central NJ. The cashier rudely said they no longer take competitiors coupons (and haven't for the past 2 weeks.) She said I should have noticed they don't advertise it on the flyers anymore. Neither does pathmark, btw. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted & makes me think twice when I do my shopping. Guess I'm going back to shoprite :biggrin:

Sadly, it's true at my store on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Phooey!!!!

I think the company stinks! Theyre overpriced and some of the products are outdated (be sure to always check exp dates when shopping there).
But the thing is.....I cant seem to tear myself away from shopping there because of the weekly 3 cpn triples : O
