How do I find a store near me?
Click here (http://clients.mapquest.com/food4less/mqlocator?link=find) for the store locator. You'll need to input your zip code or your city/state to find a store near you.

Can I access the weekly sale online?
Yes, via the homepage. Simply click on See What's on sale and enter your zipcode and it will show you what's on sale in your area.

Why do the ads vary from one location to another?
Because of the competitive nature of our business, some advertised items may appear in one ad while not in another. Promotional items are often used for new store openings, special offerings to local communities or to help Food 4 Less compete directly with a local competitor.

What is Food 4 Less' coupon policy?

Manufacturer Coupons

Customers must buy the exact item called for on the coupon.
Food 4 Less does not accept expired coupons.
Customer pays all tax and deposits (if any). Coupons stating "tax included" are exceptions.
Coupons MAY NOT be exchanged for cash.
Unless otherwise stated, a customer may only use one manufacturer coupon per item.
When a coupon says "buy two boxes of cereal, get a dollar off groceries," the boxes of cereal QUALIFY the customer to get $1.00 off groceries. There $1.00 is deducted from the groceries not the cereal. Store Coupons
Green Tag Savings Coupons

These coupons, which are issued by Food 4 Less, offer a specified item either free or at a reduced price. They can be redeemed in conjunction with a manufacturer coupon for the same product provided that together they do not exceed the total cost of that item.
Food 4 Less does not accept expired green tag savings coupons.
In-ad Manufacturer Coupons
Customers CANNOT use other manufacturer coupons with these coupons.

Checkout Coupons (aka Catalina Coupons)

We accept checkout coupons from other chains.
May not be used with manufacturer coupon on the same item.
Only one checkout coupon may be used at a time on an item.
There is no limit on the number of check stand coupons that read "$1.00 off your next shopping order" or works to that effect, that can be used per order (not to exceed total grocery bill).
What is the Food 4 Less Raincheck Policy?

Only a member of management may issue rainchecks.
Rainchecks are to be issued whenever a store runs out of an advertised item and no substitutions are available/not desired by the customer.
All Food 4 Less stores will honor rainchecks from other Food 4 Less stores.
Rainchecks are good for 60 days after they have been issued, and may be limited to a reasonable quantity.

My FFL wouldn't honor a jewel MFR Catalina Q. I can't find anywhere on the FFL website that says they do?

The ad in the sale flyer this week for $4 off on Gen Mills cereal... is that a store coupon or considered a mfg coupon?

Cashier told me once she scanned it, I wouldn't be able to use any other coupons on the cereal.

I asked "isn't it a store coupon?"
She just repeated what she said at first.
She was really nice, but I don't usually shop Food 4 Less. This would be a good thing to know for future planning.

Recently my first attempt at e-coupons printed (not photocopied) were not accepted at my local Food 4 Less. The checker asked if I printed it on my computer, I said yes, and she said they did not take them. Any else have this issue?

I just called the Food 4 Less by me today and was told that they accept expired coupons up to 2 or 3 years old. It is probably only regional. Most of the other major chains in the Chicago area accept expired coupons: Jewels, Dominicks and Ultra. The only major chain that doesn't around here is Meijer.

Southsider, may I ask which location of Food 4 Less you asked?

Would be good to know, as I'm in Chicago / NW Ind. area.

It was Crest Hill. I'm not sure if it is for that store only or if all of the Chgo area stores accept them. Ultra is right down the block within walking distance from this store and I have confirmed they also accept expireds. I have found it never hurts to ask in the Chgo region if a store accepts expireds. I was once told yes but they aren't supposed to say anything unless asked. The norm seems to be the large chains do accept expireds but the small indepents don't.

The food 4 less on 7770 S Cicero Ave does take expired coupons up to 6 months. They have the Colgate toothpaste and toothbrushes for $1. I found 2 coupons for 75 cents for the toothpaste which made them only 25 cents each. There are coupons for the toothbrushes for $1 and that makes them free. The toothpaste are the regular colgate with baking soda and peroxide 4.6 oz. I got the mint and the regular flavor.

Thanks for posting about the Burbank store. I used to live in Oak Lawn and would shop at that store. I didn't find out till I moved out near Crest Hill that Food 4 Less takes expired coupons. I haven't been there for a while so I will have to check to see if the Crest Hill store is also only taking expired coupons up to 6 months now. I checked before Ultra changed their policy from any expired coupon to up to 6 months expired. The Crest Hill store may also have changed from 2 or 3 years to 6 months.

You're welcome. After Jewel not taking expired coupons I now shop at Food 4 Less. It's a distance but it is better for me so far. The hot dog are a great deal this week. They also have Green giants veggies on sale for a $1. The frozen boxes. They also have the boxes with the rice and cheese along with the veggies.
