Up until a couple of weeks ago I never paid attention to how long something was marked down, but of course now that I'm religiously couponing I'm wanting to know. I went into the commissary today to pick up a few things for dinner tonight and planned on going tomorrow for my real shopping. I walked around writing down prices of things that are marked down that I remembered having coupons for but am worrying that I should go back tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow. Oh, I'm at Camp Pendleton, if that makes a difference.

the only way to know for sure if there is a shelf tag with ending date noted. otherwise, it's truly hit or miss.

from the commissary helpful tips thread....
Prices change right before the 1st and 16th - WHY ?

i should add, some sales are regional and at the discretion of the distributor for any given vendor.
so a sale on one installation may not be in effect at every installaion.

HTH some!
