I FINALLY went to my Local Lowes Foods. I think they were expecting a lot, I saw one person walking around with atleast 16 bottles of pepsi and his wife had another 8 in her cart. They have pepsi on the floor in the cases atleast 4 high and 10+feet long.
ANYWAY- here is what I got split into 2 orders for meat rebates

2 Serria Mist (used bogoQ got $1.99 credit!)
2 Pepsi Max (used $.55/2Q)
4 Sunkist (used $1/2)
4 Comet Rice (used $.55=free!)
4 Tennesse Pride rolls (used $.55/1=$.39)
2 Mushrooms (evic $.79 each)
12 packs of chicken breast ranging in price $2.21-$2.70 (used $2/$8 meat)
4 about 1lb packages of ground beef
1 1.8lb ground beef (used $2/$8 meat)
1 Crisco $3.99 (used $.55/1 Q I really needed this)

I paid $36.43 oop And I will get $20 back in rebates....
I was down to my last 2lbs of chicken so I really really needed the chicken. I was in a hurry so I didn't get anything else. I will be going back to use up my $2/$8Q on the chicken before they expire on the 8th.

I switched over my card and I will be going back to get more chicken and soda.

But what really made my day was when I found 6 different rebate forms!

We hit LF tonight and got:
3 - Rice Krispies
4 - Tonys Pizza
4 - Tenneessee Pride Sausage

Spent about $3. Not as good as the good ol' days, but not too bad...especially for the sausage. Tenneessee Pride is the absolute best sausage made. I see sausage cheese balls in our future!!!

We were also going to get the Trident Layers gum because we have B1G1 coupons. We couldn't find it anywhere...oh well.

We will probably get some of the shredded cheese that is $.99 after FRC's.

Well, I spent more than some of you like to spend, but I am trying to load up on chicken.

4 pks of chicken (all around $8 BEFORE discount)
8 Trident Layers (they just got the display I had to remove the plastic to get the gum!) They also had the bogo Q on them!
2 Sierra Mist
4 Pepsi Max
2 Sunkist
1 Berio Olive Oil
1 Tyson Anytizers combo bag
1 Tyson Boxed southern style chicken tenders
1 Banquet chicken nuggets
4 Toll House morsles
2 Kelloggs Rice Krispie treats
1 Kelloggs Rice Krispies
Paid $23.46

I have looked at the FRC deals but haven't really seen any that I need...I have gotten $.35 in bag points though!

Any more trips I make I will just get chicken, gum and soda-maybe some hamburger meat.

Also again I had a cashier that didn't want to question every Q. That makes me want to shop there.

I'll be stocking up on chicken too! Going to try to buy enough to be able to use the $10 off $50 q I got in the mail...and will be using some $1 off poultry wt's while I'm at it to get more for the $$. Crossing my fingers I will not cross an overly zealous cashier- not breaking the rules or anything but some of them can be so terrible when it comes to winetag redemption.

I was using the Sam Adams $2/$8 and of course they are coded for the beer, so when it beeped the young cashier (that kept calling me mam!) said that I needed to purchase the beer (cause that is what it says on the front). I told him to at the tiny print at the bottom and see where it says NBPN. He was fine after that and accepted all 4 of my coupons! I was so happy-cause I ended up paying less than $.80 per package of chicken and each package of chicken was over 1.5lb each! I was surprised when I Found the huge amount of Q at FL too...I think people thought they had to buy the beer! SILLY PEOPLE!!! It pays to know your STATES rules on these things.

I found them about a week ago-I remember when I grabbed them thinking I probably won't be able to use what I grabbed-but then this sale came along. I had offered some to my friend and she said someone else had sent them to her, and I think that person lived in the Raleigh area but I am not positive. I have only seen them at this one Food Lion near me too.

My friend asked me to go with her today. So I got
4 Sierra Mist
2 Pepsi Max
2 Sunkist
4 packs chicken
2 sausage
Paid $4.01-I forgot to get the gum.

My friend did pretty well too, that was her first time to Lowes Foods. They seem to have relaxed somewhat on the coupons. Not that they let us get away with stuff, but there doesn't seem to be the flack that I was getting in the past over EVERY coupon that I used. They didn't even give me too hard a time about the Samuel Adams Q we used today. WHEW! I wanted her experience to go well. One issue we did have was the $4 FRC on the 4 GM cereals. It clearly shows a picture of the YELLOW box of cheerios on the shelf tag, however they don't qualify. I showed the CS person the tag and she agreed that isn't right and my friend got her 4 dollars back.
She got-
1 Karo Syrup
2 Olive oil
2 Cheerios
2 Cinammon toast crunch
3 LF cheese
4 packs of chicken
4 packs of meat about 1lb each
3 Tennessee Pride Sausage
2 Rice Krispies
2 Fruit Loops
3 Toll House chips
4 Hershey chips
1 Hershey syrup
1 qt buttermilk (that was mine and I accidently put it in her cart)
1 condensed Milk
1 Smart Balance Oil
1 Small crisco
8 different Pepsi products
2 Chocolate Chip Waffles (yay they were back in stock!)

She paid $56 and got the $4 back in cash. She also qualifies for the $10 meat rebate.

She is so proud here is her picture

I did very well at Lowe's this week. Bought about 32 pounds of boneless/skinless chicken breast (yes, we do have an extra freezer- I use the ziploc pump and seal to bag these for freezing and it works well!), 2 lbs of asparagus, 1 pack of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon and 6 packs of Trident Layers gum for a grand total of $25.09 after q's. I had poultry wt's from earlier in the year that the cashier surprisingly accepted all of in a single transaction.

I went back yesterday and had a not so nice cashier. Wasn't my intent. I had picked the cashier I wanted but this one saw me and told me to come to her line. Then proceeded to read every word on my coupons and checked every coupon to item. And what do you know, she let me use every coupons SINCE I WAS USING THEM ALL CORRECTLY!

That is probably my last trip this week. I don't want them to get too sick of me since I will be going back starting on Wednesday to load up on Hellman's Mayo.
So my grand totals this week are
24 pks of chicken 1.5-2lbs each
9 packs of ground beef 1-1.5lbs
7 Tennessee Pride
4 Rice Krispies
2 Fruit Loops
2 Apple Jacks
3 LF Cheese
3 bananas
30 2ltrs of soda
1 Marshmallow (that I will get my money back because they had a sale sign up)
2 Big boxes of Cheerios
1 JFG Coffee
1 Olive Oil
6 Nestle Chips
Frozen breaded chicken
2 Mushrooms
4 Comet Rice
1 Crisco

I spent about $80 and I will get back $45 in rebates. I think that is pretty good since 95% of the stuff I actually needed because we were running low.

I found a Chicken Nugget recipe that is supposed to be similar to McDonalds, so I am excited to make them and hopefully my kids will eat them so I can stop buying all these frozen breaded chicken products-my kids will eat them for (NO JOKE) breakfast, lunch, dinner, and after school snack.

This Lowe's transaction turned out even better than I originally thought...did the math and I wound up paying about 50 cents per pound for the boneless/skinless chicken. I'm going to submit for a $10 MIR from Blue Moon which will bring the cost of the chicken down to an amazing quarter per pound. Unbelievable!!!

Today I found $1/1 WT for Orange Juice. I figured I would give that Trop 50 a shot since they had it in the small bottles for $1.50....SO GLAD I DIDN'T PAY MORE! That was gross! All it is is watered down OJ (look at the ingredients) it is only 42% juice too.

I wouldn't call it gross...but definitely not good. It has Stevia in it. They could have left that out. I had a $1 catalina I got at Kroger for it so we got the one that was B1G1. $1.74 - $1/1 = $.74.

Either way, looks like LF was good to you this week. We've all but abandoned HT. They aren't worth the trouble. Lowes Foods & Food Lion for us.

I read the bottle and didn't see that mentioned, however as soon as I drank it I thought it tasted like there was a not real sugar in it...Is that was "Reb A" is? I tried to drink it a few times...YUCK!

I went to HT this week to get the cheap OM bacon and the mini wheats that were bogo and I was completely out of Parm cheese and I had a bogo RC for it so I got that...and I go to see a cashier to give her rebate forms and coupons. I like to keep her happy for those times I do go in...I don't see anything at Food Lion.

Nothing at FL? You didn't look very good. They have a produce & meat FLIP, plus $.99 FL bacon & $.50 Toaster Strudel w/ $1/1 IP (3-day sale), plus free Magnum Razors w/ $3/1 IP. You need to look again...
